The genocide happened and the crossings were closed and he cannot return, and I became responsible for my children here, fleeing with them from place to place. To protect them, when the occupation forces attacked our homes, my house was completely burned. They burned my children’s clothes and rooms. Sleeping, they left us with nothing for a day and a night, no clothes, no covers, no home.
