A Father’s Fight for His Family

My name is Rokib Ahmed. I am a father of three children, and today I am reaching out with a humble heart because my family is going through one of the hardest periods of our lives.

I have never wanted to depend on others. I have always believed that a person should work hard and provide for his family through his own efforts. I run a small medicine shop, and this business is my family's main source of income. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond my control have left me struggling to keep it running.

A few months ago, my mother suffered a serious brain stroke. I desperately tried to arrange the treatment she needed. I borrowed money and used whatever resources I had to try to save her. Sadly, despite everything we did, my mother passed away.

Before I had even been able to come to terms with losing my mother, my father also suffered a brain stroke. Once again, I borrowed money and did everything I could to arrange his treatment. Sadly, I lost my father too.

Losing both of my parents within such a short period has been incredibly painful. But the financial consequences of their medical treatment remain. The money I borrowed to pay for their treatment has become a heavy burden, and I am still struggling with these debts.

I have very limited assets and no significant savings. My small medicine shop is the one thing that can give me a path toward becoming financially independent again.

However, after spending so much money on my parents' treatment and taking on debt, I no longer have enough working capital to properly restock my shop. There are medicines that customers need, but sometimes I cannot provide them because I simply cannot afford to purchase enough stock.

This is why rebuilding my small pharmacy is so important to me.

I am not looking for a permanent source of donations. I am asking for a chance to restart my business properly. With enough working capital to purchase essential medicines, I can serve customers, earn an honest income, support my family, and gradually repay the debts that have accumulated.

I have three sons, aged 4, 11, and 13. They depend on me for everything: food, education, school expenses, clothing, tuition, and other basic necessities.

As their father, one of my greatest fears is not being able to provide them with the things they need. I want my children to stay in school and have the opportunity to build a better future. I want them to grow up knowing that their father did everything he could to protect and support them.

I also have my own medical needs, including diabetes and other health problems. Medical care and medicine create additional expenses, but I often have to put my own needs aside because my children come first.

I have tried to manage this situation by myself. I have also asked relatives and people I know for help, but I have not been able to receive enough support to overcome the financial burden.

That is why I am now asking for help from kind-hearted people through this fundraiser.
