My name is Wasantha Kumara, and I’m from Sri Lanka. Years ago, during the time of war, I lost my right leg. Since then, I’ve been using an artificial limb to live and work independently.

Unfortunately, my artificial leg is now broken and cannot be repaired. Without it, I am unable to walk or work, and surviving day-to-day has become extremely difficult.

To get a new, good-quality prosthetic leg and fittings, I need approximately $6,000 USD (LKR 2,000,000). I am not able to afford this on my own.
