Help Mideyo Find a Safe Home and Access Mental Health Support
Mideyo is a 23-year-old LGBTQ+ person living in Lebanon who is currently facing an urgent and difficult situation. He needs support to leave an unsafe living environment, secure stable housing, and access the mental health support he needs.
For Mideyo, having a safe home is not simply about having a roof over his head. It means having a place where he can feel safe, maintain his privacy, and begin rebuilding his life without constantly fearing what may happen next.
As a young LGBTQ+ person in Lebanon, finding a safe and stable living environment can be particularly difficult. Mideyo has reached a point where he urgently needs to establish an independent and secure place to live.
What the funds will support
The funds raised through this campaign will help Mideyo cover:
Safe housing and rent
Housing-related expenses and basic utilities
Food and essential daily needs
Psychological and mental health support
Transportation and other essential expenses
The goal is to provide Mideyo with stability for the coming months, allowing him to focus on his wellbeing, access professional psychological support, look for sustainable employment opportunities, and work toward becoming financially independent.
Why this campaign matters
Mideyo is not asking for a luxury or an easy way out. He is asking for the opportunity to live somewhere safe and have the time and support needed to regain stability.
No one should have to choose between staying in an environment where they do not feel safe and becoming homeless.
Having stable housing can be the first step toward recovery, independence, and a safer future.
About the person organizing this campaign
I have been working in the humanitarian sector for several years, with professional experience in protection, mental health and psychosocial support, emergency response, and community-based humanitarian programs.
Through my humanitarian work, I have witnessed how displacement, unsafe living conditions, financial hardship, and prolonged stress can deeply affect a person's mental health and ability to move forward.
I am organizing this campaign because I believe Mideyo deserves access to safety, dignity, housing, and appropriate psychological support.
Transparency
I understand that asking people to donate requires trust.
To maintain transparency, I will provide appropriate updates about the campaign and how the funds are being used while protecting Mideyo's identity, privacy, and safety.
For additional verification of my professional background and humanitarian experience, supporters can visit my LinkedIn profile, where my professional experience and work in the humanitarian and protection sectors are publicly available.
All funds raised through this campaign will be directed toward Mideyo's housing, essential living expenses, and mental health support.
Every contribution matters
A donation can help provide part of a month's rent, a psychological support session, food, transportation, or another essential need.
And if you cannot donate, sharing this campaign can still make a real difference by helping it reach someone who can.
Thank you for taking the time to read Mideyo's story, for respecting his dignity, and for helping him move toward a safer and more stable future.
