Report fundraiser
Hello everybody, my name is Duaa, and I am launching this fundraising campaign to support my sister-in-law, Noor Anwar Rabhi Alzaqzouq (the wife of my husband’s brother), and her family in Gaza. After enduring repeated displacement, the loss of stability, and the impact of war on their lives, Noor is trying to rebuild her family’s future through education by establishing a small educational center that can support her children and create opportunities for other teachers who lost their jobs.

This is the message from Noor:

My name is Noor Anwar Rabhi Alzaqzouq, I am 35 years old, a mother of five children, and I live in Gaza. I studied Early Childhood Education at the Islamic University of Gaza and graduated in 2010. My passion has always been working with children and creating a safe educational environment where they can learn, grow, and feel hopeful.

In 2014, I married Husni Mohammad Husni Alzaqzouq, 37 years old, who studied Business Administration and Office Management. Together, we built our family and dreamed of giving our children a stable and secure future.

We are blessed with five children:

* Hala, 11 years old
* Tala, 10 years old
* Rafeef, 6 years old
* Kenzi, 3 years old
* Shadi, 1 year and a half old

Before the war, I dreamed of opening a small educational center where I could use my experience in early childhood education to support children and build a better future for my family.

But the war changed our lives completely. We were forced to leave our home and were displaced 10 different times. Each displacement meant another painful beginning: leaving behind our belongings, searching for safety, and trying to protect our children from fear and uncertainty.

My children lost their sense of stability and were unable to continue their education normally. Living in tents, moving from place to place, and constantly experiencing the fear of bombardment made learning almost impossible. Like many children in Gaza, they lost months of education and the safe environment they needed to study and develop.

My husband has been suffering from a serious third-degree cervical disc problem in his neck. He was supposed to undergo surgery, but because of the war, the difficult conditions, and the lack of available medical services, he could not receive the treatment he needed. His health condition has made him unable to work and provide for our family.

He also recently underwent surgery for hemorrhoids at Al-Quds Hospital in Tal Al-Hawa, and he is still recovering and unable to return to work.

Despite everything we have experienced, I refuse to give up. I want to rebuild our future through education. With my background in early childhood education, I hope to establish a small educational center that will provide children with a safe place to learn while creating a sustainable source of income for my family.

This project is not only for my family. It is also a way to support other families affected by the war.

Many experienced teachers in Gaza have lost their jobs and their sources of income. Many qualified educators are now struggling to support their families, while young graduates are searching for their first opportunity to work.

Through this educational center, I hope to create employment opportunities for teachers who have experience in education, as well as graduates who are ready to contribute and rebuild their professional lives.

The war has severely affected my children’s education.

My daughter Hala has a talent for drawing and a beautiful creative spirit that I hope to encourage.
My daughter Tala was one of the top students in her class before the war, but she has struggled to continue her education because of displacement and the difficult circumstances around us.
My daughter Rafeef started first grade but lost a significant part of her early education, making it difficult for her to follow her studies.

Before the war, education was free and accessible, but today many children face enormous challenges continuing their learning.

Our Goal: $6,000 to Launch an Educational Center

We are raising $6,000 to establish this educational project and help Noor rebuild her family’s future through education.

The funds will be used for:

* Renting a suitable place for the educational center.
* Obtaining the required license and approval from the Palestinian Ministry of Education in Ramallah.
* Preparing and equipping the learning space, including educational materials, furniture, and basic teaching equipment.
* Connecting electricity and water services, which have been severely affected due to the destruction of infrastructure caused by the war.
* Creating initial job opportunities for teachers and education graduates who have lost their work or are struggling to find employment.

This project is more than a classroom. It is a place of hope, learning, and rebuilding. It will help children recover part of what they have lost, support teachers who lost their livelihoods, and give Noor the opportunity to provide for her children with dignity.

Your support can help transform a family’s struggle into a new beginning.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for standing with Noor, her family, and the children and educators of Gaza.

With gratitude,
Noor Anwar Rabhi Alzaqzouq and family
