Our dear Khaled is in urgent need of a life-saving heart operation. Recent medical tests have shown that his heart is severely damaged and functioning at less than 20% capacity.
Khaled’s condition is critical:
His left ventricle and right ventricle are severely dilated and failing.
He has severe leakage (regurgitation) in both the mitral and tricuspid heart valves.
There is severe enlargement of both atria, further complicating his heart function.
Without surgical intervention, his condition will continue to deteriorate and place his life at serious risk.
Despite his strength and courage, Khaled cannot fight this battle alone. The surgery he needs is costly and beyond what his family can afford, especially in Lebanon’s difficult economic situation.
