I am urgently pleading for help to save my mother, Ogbelu Elizabeth, who is fighting for her life after being diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. She is currently receiving treatment at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Ghana, but her condition is worsening rapidly, and time is running out.

In 2024, my mother battled breast cancer with incredible strength. She endured chemotherapy and surgery that resulted in the removal of her right breast. We believed she had won. Sadly, the cancer has returned—more aggressive and more dangerous than before. Despite undergoing chemotherapy again, her health has declined at an alarming rate. Doctors have now confirmed that she urgently needs advanced medical care abroad, as the treatment she requires is not available in Ghana.

Two leading cancer centers in the United States—Hartford HealthCare Cancer Center and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute—have agreed to treat her. With insurance support upon arrival, her estimated treatment cost is $10,000, but $5,000 is enough to begin treatment immediately. Every moment we delay puts her life at greater risk.

My mother is now unable to walk or speak properly. She lives with constant pain, unstable blood pressure, and rising complications. I am her only child, and I have already lost my father. Losing her would break me beyond words.
