My name is Soyang Honorine. In 2016, the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon turned my life into a nightmare. My home was burned, I lost my brother and sister to the violence, and I fled to Nigeria as a refugee.
Despite losing everything, I never lost my dream of an education. Today, I have been officially admitted to Dalhousie University for a Master of Management (September 2026). This is my one chance to rebuild a life stolen by war but I cannot do it alone.
