My name is Doaa Qeshta, from Gaza, Palestine. I currently live in France. I have created this campaign to support my friend Shrouq Alsududi and her family during this extremely difficult time.
Shrouq’s Story
“My name is Shrouq Alsududi, I am 29 years old, and I am a visual artist who studied Fine Arts at the Community College in Gaza. I live with my four young children: Samira (6), Mira (3), Amira (2), and Mayar (1).
I have already faced unimaginable hardships. During the first wave of displacement in Gaza, I had to flee south with my children, while my husband went missing in the tragic Al-Tahini massacre on September 21, 2024. I am still searching for him, hoping for news of his whereabouts.
After my husband went missing, my father—who had become our main provider—was killed on September 28, 2025, leaving us without any immediate support.
Today, my children and I live in a small tent, exposed to the harsh winter cold, rain, and very difficult living conditions. Every day is a struggle to survive, and as a mother, I do everything I can to protect my children. But the challenges are overwhelming, and we urgently need support to endure this harsh reality.”
