My city, Gaza, was full of life, activity, and safety. I lived with my family consisting of a father who worked as a knitter, four sons and my brothers who helped my father with his knitting work, including me, and my mother, a housewife, as my father and my brothers were the sole breadwinners, after my father lost his knitting job. We lost our home and could not find another shelter due to financial hardship.
