My name is Alaa AlHelou, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where my family and I have been enduring an unimaginable ordeal for the past 11 months. The war that has gripped our homeland has brought devastation, fear, and suffering that we never thought possible. I am a mother of three beautiful children, ages 7, 6, and 2. My husband, who was once our family's sole provider, lost his job due to the relentless conflict. We have been displaced multiple times, each escape from death and bombing more harrowing than the last. Our home, the place where my children once felt safe, was bombed, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs and a deep sense of fear and uncertainty.

For nearly a year now, we have been living through constant suffering. The war in Gaza has left many families like mine struggling to survive. Every day is a battle for basic necessities—food, clean water, and shelter. As a mother, it breaks my heart to see my children endure such hardship. They deserve a chance to grow up in a safe environment, to go to school, and to play without the constant fear of bombings. My husband and I are doing everything we can to protect and provide for them, but we need your help.

In addition to our immediate needs, we are desperate to escape the constant danger and cross the border into Egypt. This journey is our only hope for safety and a stable future. The cost to cross the border is $5,000 per adult and $2,500 for young children. This amount is beyond our reach, but with your help, we can gather the funds necessary to secure our passage to safety.
