For my family, that moment came when the war in Gaza took away the place we called home.

The house where our children laughed, played, and dreamed about their future is gone. The walls that protected us, the rooms filled with memories, and the small comforts of everyday life disappeared in an instant.

Today, we are living with the pain of loss and the uncertainty of what comes next.

As parents, the hardest part is not losing possessions—it is seeing the fear in our children’s eyes and being unable to give them the security every child deserves. Every night, we dream of something many people take for granted: a safe place to sleep, a door to close behind us, and a home where our family can begin to heal.
