I am Shamika Prasad, I live in Kandy district, Sri Lanka. I am currently 29 years old. I got married 3 years ago. Now I have a 3 month old baby. After my father died in a car accident (2019/10), I had to leave home. My mother did not want me to stay at home because I accepted God into my life. Since then, I have been living in rented rooms, studying for the ministry in several churches and doing various jobs.
Later, I married the woman I loved and since then I have been living in small rented houses. We are still living in a rented house. I also lost all my money by trying to do a joint business with friends. But I believe that God is guiding my life. My main goal is to serve God. I am working towards that.
I am currently working to provide advice to drug addicts to change their lives and to provide them with the knowledge I have by holding a classroom in a room in my friend's house for their young children. It is my effort for the service of God.
I have written briefly about my history and myself. I now feel that my responsibilities have increased in my life from now on. Some days, the lack of food in my house is a great pain for me.
I am also asking for your mercy in God in this difficult time to start a small business and manage my household expenses.
(I am sure that by buying coconuts with husks, removing the husks, keeping them on the side of the main road and selling them, I can create a situation where I can face the future economy.)
