My name is Anura. I am a 48 year old married person living in Kandy. My wife is 40 years old and we have been married for almost 11 years now.
Our biggest dream in life is to have a child and build a happy family. But despite our hopes and wishes over the years, we still haven't had a baby.
We have seen doctors and undergone many tests and treatments. It has been explained that IVF (test tube baby) treatment is the only best chance for us to have a child as per the advice of the doctors.
However, the total amount required for that treatment is nearly 1,200,000 rupees (12 lakhs), and due to our economic condition, it is very difficult for us to procure that amount.
We are a low income family living a simple life. Even daily living expenses have become a burden on us. But we have never given up on our dream of having a child.
Therefore, we most humbly request your help on the basis of your kindness and humanity. Even the smallest amount you can will give us great hope..
