She Has a Dream. Let’s Not Let It Die With Her Struggles.
This is Nisangi N. Thennakoon, a 14-year-old Sri Lankan girl with a dream to become an English-medium IT Consultant.
Her talent is remarkable — she's already designing animations and graphics using just a weak, outdated PC. Her work speaks volumes about her potential.
But behind that talent lies deep pain.
Nisangi lost her father to suicide, a tragedy born from ongoing financial hardship. Her mother now works as a housemaid, doing everything she can to support the family.
Despite this, Nisangi continues to learn, create, and believe in her future. But she urgently needs a proper laptop (worth $800) to continue her journey.
Target: $1250

🌱 Why This Matters
Supporting Nisangi is more than giving a laptop—it's investing in a generation with untapped brilliance. In a world where technology drives opportunity, many gifted children are left behind simply because they cannot afford the tools to grow. Nisangi represents thousands of young minds in Sri Lanka who are rich in talent but poor in resources. By backing this campaign, you're not just helping her—you’re sending a clear message that we believe in the dreams of our youth. Together, we can build a future where poverty doesn’t decide potential. Let’s be the reason she succeeds—not despite her struggles, but because we stood beside her. Support this campaign. Share it. Be a part of real, meaningful change.
📢 A Message to All Who Still Believe
In times when headlines are full of division, war, corruption, and greed, stories like Nisangi’s remind us of the quieter battles being fought in silence — by children, by mothers, by families trying to stay afloat.
You may never meet her. She may never get a chance to thank you directly. But know this:
Every design she creates will carry the energy of your kindness.
Every exam she passes will be powered by the gift you made possible.
Every step she takes toward her dream will trace back to this moment — the moment you chose to believe in a girl the world had almost forgotten.
💬 Final Words
To empower youth is to empower the future.
To give a laptop is to give freedom — freedom to learn, to create, to earn, and to rise.
This is your chance to prove that humanity still exists in everyday people. That compassion still beats stronger than poverty. That a child’s dream is worth more than the coins in our pocket.
Let’s not wait for miracles. Let’s become the miracle.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing. And thank you for giving.
