The city of Lagos in Nigeria, with a population of about nine million people in a fossilized state where the largest Africa refinery is situated lacks enough trees to dampen the impacts of climate change rising sea levels and temperatures, heatwaves, flooding, deforestation and foul air .Tree planting has been recognized as a tool for fighting climate change. It offers wide range of environmental and social benefits and contributes to reforestation efforts globally. Trees sequester carbon, produce oxygen calm the surrounding, adds to aesthetics, reduce the severity of floods by slowing rainwater to the ground and improve air flow and quality. Your donations to EARN will be used to fund 1000 tree planting exercise in Lagos to make it more attractive to tourists and international investors and on long term beautify and calm the city .DONATE NOW.
