My name is Lahiru. I am a Sri Lankan citizen who is struggling to survive each day. I don’t have a house to live in. I live in a small rented room, and even that is not guaranteed every month. The rent is a burden, and the fear of losing this shelter is always with me.

More than anything, I dream of having a small piece of land… a place to call home. A place where I can build a simple house—not for luxury, but for safety, dignity, and peace. I am not asking for much—just a roof over my head that I can call mine.

Life is not easy when you don’t have a stable place to stay. Rain, heat, or illness—there is no comfort, no security. Every day feels like a fight just to keep going.
