I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Chathura Erandha, and I am a 38-year-old resident of a remote village in the Badulla District of Sri Lanka. My family and I need help because we are going through difficult times which have created urgent need for assistance.

I am the only source of income for my family which consists of my two children and my two elderly parents who are 62 and 65 years old and my sister who has separated from her husband and stays with us together with her two children. My parents have permanent medical conditions which require treatment because I experience health problems that need regular medical care. My wife also gets sick frequently which creates difficulties for her when she needs to look after our household.

I currently lack permanent employment so I depend on temporary work to sustain my life. I cannot work when I am sick which causes our family to lose all sources of income. Our situation has become worse because we lack proper housing and providing my family with shelter has become an impossible burden.

I ask for your help to construct a house for my family because our current situation demands it. A safe and secure place to live would provide us with the stability we desperately need and allow us to focus on improving our health and well-being. I will provide all required evidence to prove our current circumstances and I hope your organization will extend support to us during this urgent situation.
