I wish I didn’t have to write this, for the second time I'm back here. I wish my daddy were healthy, laughing, living his life without pain. But today, he is fighting for his life, and I don’t know how much longer he can.

In just a few weeks, everything has changed. A diagnosis of lung cancer turned our world upside down—but now it’s not just the cancer. His heart is failing, despite 11 bypass surgeries he has already endured. His kidneys are struggling, and dialysis leaves him weak and in pain. And on top of everything, he has suffered a massive brain hemorrhage. Four major health crises, all at the same time, and every day feels like we are running out of time.
He is only 60 years old. He is my daddy—the man who taught me to fight, to love, to never give up. And now, he needs all of us to fight for him. I am doing everything I can, but I cannot do this alone.
