Her Story
A few months ago, my mom noticed a lump in her breast. After countless tests, scans, and a biopsy, we received the heartbreaking diagnosis: Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer that has already spread to her lymph nodes. The doctors at Aga Khan University Hospital have stressed the urgency of starting her treatment, which includes:

Targeted Therapy (Trastuzumab)
Chemotherapy
A Major Surgery (Mastectomy)
Radiation Therapy and Hormonal Therapy
The road ahead is daunting, but my mom has always been a fighter. With the right treatment, her doctors are confident that she can beat this cancer. However, the cost of her treatment is staggering, and as a family, we are struggling to afford it.

The estimated cost of her complete treatment at Aga Khan University Hospital is PKR 4.2 million ($15,000 USD).
