I am a 19-year-old girl living in Jordan. I realized I was attracted to girls when I was 13, but I had to hide it because of my family and the society around me.
After I left Islam and became Christian, my family discovered my faith.
Since then, I have been confined to the house, prevented from working or attending university, and subjected to physical violence, insults, and threats. I have barely left my home for the past three months.
My family has also threatened to force me into marriage and send me to Iraq, where I fear for my safety and my life.
I have no income and no way to afford a visa, a plane ticket, or a safe place to stay. I am asking for your help so I can leave safely and seek protection and a chance to start over.
Despite everything, I still want to live. I still have hope.
