Saving My Sister’s Life – Bone Marrow Transplant for Thalassemia Major
My name is R.M.N.C.L.Rathnayaka. I am writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your kind support.
My sister is suffering from Thalassemia Major, a serious genetic blood disease. Because of this illness, she needs regular blood transfusions to survive. Doctors have clearly informed us that the only permanent cure for her condition is a Bone Marrow Transplant.
Unfortunately, the cost of this surgery, hospital care, medicines, and follow-up treatment is far beyond our financial capacity. Our family does not have enough income or savings to afford this life-saving treatment.
As a family, we are doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone. This transplant is her only chance to live a normal, healthy life. Without it, her future is uncertain.
