كيفن أب لأربعة أطفال يعيش في بلد أنهكته الحروب، ويبذل قصارى جهده لإعالة أسرته من خلال عمله كمدرب لياقة بدنية. وعلى الرغم من التحديات الاقتصادية الصعبة، فقد عمل بلا كلل لتأمين احتياجات زوجته وأطفاله، واضعًا مصلحتهم دائمًا قبل مصلحته الشخصية.

اليوم، يواجه كيفن أصعب معركة في حياته. فبعد معاناته من آلام شديدة في البطن ومضاعفات صحية خطيرة، تم نقله بشكل عاجل إلى المستشفى، حيث اكتشف الأطباء وجود انسداد خطير في القولون.

ويحتاج إلى الخضوع لعدة فحوصات، بما في ذلك تنظير القولون وأخذ خزعة، وقد قرر الأطباء أنه بحاجة ماسة إلى عملية استئصال للقولون لمنحه أفضل فرصة ممكنة للتعافي.

ومن المتوقع أن تبلغ تكلفة العملية الجراحية وحدها نحو 7,000 دولار أمريكي، دون احتساب تكاليف الاستشفاء والفحوصات والأدوية والرعاية الطبية اللاحقة.

وبالنسبة لعائلة تكافح أصلًا لتأمين متطلبات الحياة الأساسية، فإن هذه التكاليف تفوق قدرتها بشكل كبير. ومما يزيد الأمر صعوبة أن نتائج الخزعة بيّنت أن هناك ورم سرطاني وإلتهابات حادة بالكولون.

لقد كان هذا الغموض مؤلمًا للغاية، وكل يوم يحمل معه مخاوف جديدة بشأن صحة كيفن ومستقبل أسرته. وبينما يجلس أحباؤه إلى جانب سريره في المستشفى، يثقل قلوبهم هاجس مؤلم واحد: أطفاله الأربعة الصغار بحاجة إلى والدهم، وزوجته بحاجة إلى زوجها.

إنهم لا يستطيعون تخيل مستقبل بدونه.

As a man who seeks to promote health, one of life's cruelest ironies is that Keven would face a health crisis that couldn't have been prevented in the gym.

Keven is a father of four living in a war-torn country, doing his best to support his family through his fitness coaching career. Despite the challenges of a struggling economy, he has worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and children, always putting their needs before his own.

Today, Keven is facing the fight of his life. After suffering severe abdominal pain and complications, Keven was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered a serious blockage in his colon.

He has to undergo multiple tests, including a colonoscopy and biopsy, and doctors have determined that he urgently needs a colectomy, and give him the best chance at recovery.

The surgery alone is expected to cost approximately $7,000, not including hospitalization, testing, medications, and follow-up care.

For a family already struggling to make ends meet, these costs are overwhelming. To make matters even more frightening, the biopsy results determine that it's a cancerous tumor with severe inflammation and ulcers in the colon.

The uncertainty has been devastating, and every day brings new worries about Keven's health and the future of his family. As his loved ones sit beside his hospital bed, one painful thought weighs heavily on their hearts: his four young boys need their father. His wife needs her husband.
