Hi, my name is Dr. Batagalle Gedara and I’m fundraising for Mawpiya Sewana Elderly Care Home in Ragama, Sri Lanka.
Mawpiya Sewana is a home for abandoned and needy elderly people who have no one to take care of them. Many of our residents are sick, lonely, and have nowhere else to go.
We provide them with shelter, 3 meals a day, medical care, medicine, and most importantly - love and dignity in their final years.
Right now, we urgently need funds to cover:
1. Food and groceries for 30+ elders every month
2. Medical bills and essential medicines
3. Electricity, water and basic home maintenance
Every donation, big or small, directly helps us give these grandparents a safe and comfortable life. In Sri Lanka, government support is very limited, so we rely on the kindness of people like you.
