Please Help Dharmalatha and Her Daughter

My name is Mirisage Dharmalatha, and I am a 69-year-old mother living in Sri Lanka. I have one daughter, who is my only source of support.

My husband passed away two years ago. Even before his death, I had been suffering from a serious illness. My health has since deteriorated significantly, and I am now unable to walk or manage my daily activities without assistance.

Unfortunately, I do not receive any government financial assistance. My only daughter, who is 50 years old and unmarried, is the person who currently takes care of me and helps me with my daily needs. She also has a health condition that makes it difficult for her to work and earn a sufficient income for our living expenses.

My medical condition has become increasingly difficult. I developed a serious infection in my body and had to undergo three surgeries. Because I am unable to walk and must remain in one position for long periods, I have also developed painful wounds that require ongoing care.

At present, we are struggling to afford essential expenses such as medical treatment, medicines, wound care, food, and other basic necessities. With no reliable source of income or financial assistance, our situation has become extremely difficult.
