My name is Sachin, a 28-year-old unmarried young man from Sri Lanka. Life has been very difficult for me and my family. My father passed away when I was very small, and my elder brother, who took care of us, sadly passed away recently due to cancer. Now it is only me and my sick mother left.
My mother is 68 years old and suffering from health problems. She needs daily medicines and proper medical attention. I do my best to look after her, but with my very limited income it is extremely hard to cover everything.
We live in a half-finished house. The walls are not complete, the roof leaks, and it is not a safe or comfortable place for my mother to live in. My biggest wish is to finish building our home so that my mother can live in peace and dignity.
At the same time, I dream of starting a small business so that I can earn a stable income to support my mother and myself. With your help, I will be able to:
