*Hello everyone,*

I hope this message reaches kind hearts. My name is Asra, a 22-year-old university student from Sri Lanka. I’m currently pursuing an external pharmacy course, hoping to build a way to support my family.

Life took a painful turn when we lost our father a year ago. Since then, everything has changed. My mother, who has undergone three major stomach surgeries, is unable to work. My younger brother is still in school, and as the eldest, the responsibility to care for them has fallen on me.

We have no stable income, no support, and I often feel lost and helpless. There have been moments when dark thoughts crept in, but my faith and spiritual beliefs have held me back.

Now, I’ve made a promise to myself—to stand strong for my family. But even continuing my education has become a struggle due to financial difficulties. I’m not used to asking for help, but I’ve reached a point where I must.
