In November 2023, Mahmoud was diagnosed with large B-cell lymphoma, with involvement of his left testis.

In December 2023, he received three cycles of R-CHOP chemotherapy. Then he had radical orchiectomy for his left testis in February 2024. Followed by another three sessions of R-CHOP plus two sessions of Rituximab immunotherapy along with six cycles of prophylactic intrathecal methotrexate.

In April 2024, he achieved complete remission.

Unfortunately, in November 2024, a PET scan revealed that his cancer had relapsed in the aorticocaval perivascular retroperitoneal lymph node.

In response, he began salvage chemotherapy (R-ICE) in December 2024. He has completed one cycle in December 2024 and two more cycles in January 2025.


Now, Mahmoud urgently needs an autologous stem cell transplant, which is a critical step in his treatment. The cost of the transplant at AUBMC is $52,500.

In light of this, I have initiated this fundraising campaign to help cover the expenses of his transplant. Every donation, regardless of size, will make a meaningful difference in ensuring my father receives the life-saving treatment he urgently needs.
