Muhammad Arshad is a bright, loving, and courageous 7-year-old boy who is facing one of the toughest battles of his young life. He has been diagnosed with posterior fossa anaplastic ependymoma, an aggressive and malignant brain tumor that affects the lower part of the brain.

Five years ago, Muhammad was first diagnosed with a brain tumor. As any parent would, his family was determined to give him the best possible care. He underwent major brain surgery to remove the tumor, bringing hope and relief to his loved ones. But just a year later, the tumor returned, forcing him to go through another complicated brain surgery, followed by radiotherapy, to try and keep this relentless disease at bay.

Now, heartbreakingly, the tumor has returned again. Recent medical reports reveal an active enhancing lesion in the fourth ventricle, spreading to nearby areas of the brain and causing hydrocephalus, a dangerous buildup of fluid that increases pressure inside the skull. This condition is critical and requires immediate, specialized neurosurgical care to prevent further complications.

Muhammad urgently needs another surgery and ongoing treatment at the Regional Cancer Centre. The estimated cost of the surgery, hospital care, medications, and follow-up treatment is overwhelming for the family, who have already spent years managing medical expenses and caring for their beloved child.
