The St Charbel center, Sister Marie Abel Foundation was created in 1990 by a committee of friends and managed by the Sisters of St Cœurs, according to the most ardent wish of Sister Marie Abel Qamari whose miracle of her healing was retained as proof of legitimacy by the Vatican for the beatification of St Charbel.
Our Mission is to welcome children from 4 to 15 years old, orphans, from disadvantaged families, with serious social problems, with the aim of ensuring them moral and physical security, regular schooling, and accommodation adapted to their needs.
The children are cared for by social workers who will allow them to grow and flourish in a healthy, family environment.
