My name is Sunethra, and I’m the mother of three little girls. A few days ago, something happened that I never imagined would change our lives like this

I had stepped out for just a few minutes to take some tea to the people working in the nearby rice fields. When I returned, I saw smoke coming from our kitchen. In those short ten minutes, a fire had broken out and destroyed so much.

Our refrigerator, watching machine, water filter, and other appliances were burnt and blackened. Everything we had worked hard to buy was gone. I was terrified especially when I realized how close the gas tank was to exploding. If I had arrived even a little later, the fire could have taken our whole home... or worse, my children.

Thankfully, our neighbors came running to help and managed to put out the fire before it spread beyond the kitchen. But now, we’re left with a broken, blackened space where we used to cook our meals and gather as a family.

I’m reaching out to kind hearts like yours not just for money, but if you can, to provide materials or any support to help us rebuild our kitchen. We didn’t have a chance to take videos or record what happened. Everything happened so fast. But I hope you can feel the truth in my words.
