Tree planting is recognised as tool for combating climate change. Environment Aware and Restoration NETWORK ( EARN ) wants to plant 1000 trees in crowded city of Lagos in Nigeria . There are not enough trees planted to soak up excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. EARN's tree lanting initiative is a contribution to global reforestation efforts to fight climate change which has no territorial limits.
