My name is Ganithage Sumana , and I am a farmer living in Sri Lanka. Farming is my only source of income, and I work very hard every day to support my family. However, my earnings are very limited, and it has been extremely difficult to meet even the basic needs of life.

Currently, my family and I live in a small house made of mud. During the rainy seasons, it becomes very hard to live there due to leaks, cold, and poor safety conditions. This situation makes our daily life even more challenging and unsafe.

It has been my long-time dream to build a proper and safe house for my family. Based on estimates, the cost to build a new house is around USD 7200, which is far beyond what I can afford with my current income. Despite working hard through farming for many years, I have not been able to save enough for this goal.
