Support Our Organic Herbal Project

Support Our Organic Herbal Project
Hello, my name is Afaf. I’m 20 years old. I’m a first-year Artificial Intelligence student at Ajman University. My educational journey has never been easy… I was forced to stop studying for six years because of our financial situation. After I finally returned and graduated from high school with a 92% average in the scientific stream — along with several awards and achievements — I had to pause for another full year. And today… my university journey is at risk of being cut off again, and this time it might be forever. The tuition is 48,000 AED per year, and I’ve been taking the minimum number of courses just so the amount doesn’t become impossible for me to pay. My parents are divorced, and I’ve been carrying responsibilities from a young age. I’m Syrian, and I couldn’t continue my studies in my country because of the war. Our home in Syria was completely destroyed, and we have nowhere to return to. My mother works as a bus attendant, but her job is at risk because she is illiterate and has no certificate, and a new law requires bus attendants to have at least a high school diploma. My father doesn’t support us at all — and we even have court papers that prove everything I’ve mentioned. I grew up trying to stand on my own feet in every way possible. I learned many skills and tried to start small projects, but every time I failed because I didn’t have the money needed to get the project seen by people. ⸻ And this is where my project begins… My project focuses on producing and packaging 100% natural herbs — like moringa, henna, sidr, and more — in clean, safe preparations inside plant-based capsules or sealed bags and containers, making them easy and convenient for people to use. This idea solves real problems in the market today: • Many people want to take moringa but can’t because of its extremely bitter taste. • Most ready-made products in the market contain preservatives or additives that reduce the herb’s quality. • People want authentic, pure, non-adulterated herbs. • And many don’t know how to clean, sift, or prepare herbs properly. My project offers a solution: • Pure plant-based capsules with zero additives. • Herbs cleaned, sifted, and prepared by hand. • Hygienic packaging labeled with quantities, benefits, usage instructions, and production dates. What makes my project different from what’s in the market: 1. Everything is 100% natural with no preservatives. 2. Herbs are sourced from old, trusted mills known for their quality. 3. Small-batch, hand-filled production to ensure freshness and high quality. 4. Affordable pricing — my goal is to help people, not to make exaggerated profit. 5. Future products for hair and skin made in safe, easy-to-use forms.

A Cyclone Destroyed Our House

Family

A Cyclone Destroyed Our House
Over the past few days, the powerful Cyclone Ditva that hit Sri Lanka brought extremely heavy rainfall to our area. The continuous rain quickly turned into severe flooding. The water levels rose higher and higher, and soon, the entire region we lived in was submerged. We watched helplessly as the floodwaters swallowed roads, trees, and ultimately the area we had lived in for years. As the situation worsened, the ground beneath our house began to shake. Authorities warned us to evacuate immediately as the slope behind our house had become unstable. Hoping and praying that the situation wouldn't get any worse, we left the house with only the clothes we were wearing. But just as we were about to escape, a massive landslide occurred. Tons of earth and rock crashed down on our house, burying everything we had worked so hard to build. The house we lived in, the land we cared for, and everything inside – all were destroyed in an instant. When we returned later to see what was left, the scene was heartbreaking. Our house was no longer recognizable. It had completely collapsed and was buried under layers of mud, rocks, and debris. Furniture, clothing, documents, tools, equipment - everything had been washed away or crushed beyond repair. It took years of sacrifice, savings, and effort to build that house. Seeing it reduced to broken pieces and mud was a pain we cannot easily express. Now we have no place to live. We are temporarily staying with relatives and neighbors, but this is not a long-term solution. We cannot afford to rebuild a house with nothing, especially after such a disaster. The cost of construction materials, labor, and simply starting life over is too much for us to bear on our own. We have lost the basic necessities we need every day: food, clothing, bedding, even school supplies. So we humbly ask for help. Any support, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to rebuilding our lives. Your kindness will help us begin to build a safe place to live again. It will help protect our family and give us hope during this extremely difficult time. The loss we have suffered is irreversible, but with your generosity we can rise again. We kindly ask for your support to rebuild our home and restore our lives.

Please help us start our lives!

Solidarity with Lebanon

Please help us start our lives!
Dear Donors, I hope this message finds you in peace. My name is Lyne, and I’m writing to you from Lebanon with something very personal and close to my heart. My partner Omar and I are hoping to get married and start our life together in a way that reflects our values—through love, commitment, and faith. But the reality we’re living makes that dream increasingly difficult. Beyond the daily economic crisis we face in Lebanon, the recent war and instability in the South have made things even harder—emotionally and financially. It’s been an incredibly heavy time for so many of us here. On top of that, my family is currently against our marriage, which has created added emotional strain and urgency. They are against our marriage because of stereotypical middle eastern mentality related to age and reputation. By reputation, i mean they want me to marry someone rich and or higher social status. I’m working multiple jobs just to manage basic expenses, while Omar is still finishing his university degree. We’re doing everything we can to build a future together, but we’re at a point where we need help. We’re not looking for extravagance—only enough to afford the modest costs of a proper marriage and a safe start to our life. We’ve chosen not to make this request public on social media, out of respect for our privacy and the sensitivity of the situation. That’s why I’m reaching out to you personally. If you’re able to offer any kind of support—financial or even a simple share of our story with someone who might be able to help—it would mean the world to us. If you’d like more details or a breakdown of our needs, I’d be more than happy to provide that. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for considering helping us during this turning point in our lives. Your kindness, even in the smallest form, would be a light in the midst of a very difficult journey. With warmth and deep gratitude, Lyne

PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR PEKINGESE, OLIVER

PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR PEKINGESE, OLIVER
Our pekingese needs an urgent operation to allow him to walk again. Oliver started showing signs of a spinal cord injury some months ago and it has now degenerated into him not being able to walk properly. He has been part of our family for 10 years and we do not want to lose him. His movements have become very restricted, and he needs an operation at a veterinary specialist to solve this. According to the vet: Spinal cord injuries, particularly those stemming from intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), are a significant concern for Pekingese dogs. IVDD is a degenerative condition where spinal discs bulge or rupture, compressing the spinal cord and potentially causing pain, nerve damage, and paralysis. Early signs can include reluctance to jump, neck pain, or difficulty with head movement. • High Risk:Pekingese, with their short legs and long backs, are predisposed to IVDD. • Early Onset: In this breed, disc degeneration can begin early in life, potentially leading to herniation and spinal cord compression even in young dogs (1-2 years old). • Symptoms:IVDD can manifest as neck pain, stiffness, muscle spasms, and varying degrees of paralysis, from mild leg weakness to complete paralysis. • Diagnosis and Treatment:Veterinary care is essential for diagnosis and treatment. Treatment options include pain management, physical therapy, and, in some cases, surgery. Other Spinal Cord Issues: • Vertebral Instability:Pekingese can also experience vertebral instability, which may lead to spinal cord injury. This can be identified through dynamic myelography or spinal manipulation, and stabilization surgery may be an option. • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM):While less common than IVDD in Pekingese, DM is a progressive neurological disease that can affect the spinal cord, causing hind limb weakness and paralysis. There is currently no cure for DM. Prevention and Management: • Weight Management:Maintaining a healthy weight can help reduce stress on the spine. • Ramps and Steps:Using ramps or steps to help Pekingese access furniture can minimize jumping, which can exacerbate spinal issues. • Early Veterinary Care:Any signs of spinal injury or neurological problems should be addressed promptly by a veterinarian. • Rehabilitation:Physical therapy and other rehabilitation methods can help improve mobility and quality of life for dogs with spinal cord injuries. PLEASE HELP US TO HELP OLIVER TO HAVE THIS CRUCIAL OPERATION! I AM A SINGLE MOTHER OF TWO BOYS WHO BOTH LOVE OUR DOG DEARLY AND WE URGENTLY NEED TO OBTAIN FUNDS IN ORDER TO AFFORD THIS CRITICAL OPERATION WHICH HAS NOW BECOME AN EMERGENCY. HE IS IN A LOT OF PAIN AND HIS MOVEMENTS ARE PAINFUL TO WATCH.

Rebuild our Home after devastating demolition

Rebuild our Home after devastating demolition
Hi, my name is mohammed and lam fundraising for rebuild our Home after devastating demolition It’s hard to put into words the feeling of seeing everything you’ve ever known reduced to rubble. My family’s house, the place we’ve called home for generations, was demolished. In an instant, the four walls that held our memories, our laughter, and our security were gone. What remains now is just a pile of broken concrete, shattered wood, and a dream that feels far from reach. This house wasn’t just bricks and mortar; it was where our children took their first steps, where we celebrated birthdays, and where we came together in times of joy and sadness. But now, what used to be our shelter from the world is no longer suitable for habitation. We’re struggling to piece together how we can start over. The roof that once shielded us from the rain has collapsed, the walls that kept us safe have crumbled, and we’re left with nowhere to go. The devastation is not just physical but deeply emotional. Unfortunately, we do not have the means to rebuild on our own. With everything we had invested in our home, this sudden loss has left us financially vulnerable. That’s why we are reaching out to you, our community, friends, and kind strangers, for help. Every contribution—no matter how small—will bring us closer to rebuilding our home and, more importantly, restoring the sense of safety and stability that has been taken from us. We know times are tough for everyone, and asking for help is never easy. But we believe in the power of people coming together in times of hardship. Your support, whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing our story, will make a world of difference. Please help us rebuild not just our house, but our home. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
