Protecting and Preserving a Long Legacy

Family

Protecting and Preserving a Long Legacy
My father, B. Kwaku Duren is an 82 year old former political activist, civil rights lawyer, and forever a Black Panther member and co/founder. He also has dementia, it was early on-set, starting young and developing slowly, but now in more advanced stages. He recently fell and broke his hip and that has greatly impacted his independence and needs on top of the dementia. This is by far one of the worst, degrading diseases- often affecting the best people. My grandmother- “Bobby’s” mother also had it, so I, and our family is unfortunately familiar with its patterns and degradation. My father has been helping people his whole life, and in his mind he still is, and wants to ever more so-despite his decline in health. As his daughter and legal guardian, I am not only grateful to my father for my life but also for everything he will leave behind, especially the vital influence he’s had on my upbringing and life. I am humbly asking for any amount of donation to go strictly towards my father’s care- which is currently at a skilled nursing rehab (for his walking) and from there I will be placing him in a more permanent memory care facility close to where I can continue to keep an eye on him and where he is somewhat familiar. His care needs financially are mostly to cover for future expenses in the memory care unit so he can have the most dignified, supportive, loving environment for his final years and due to the fact, that I alone cannot fulfill his care needs.

Help Displaced Families in Lebanon

Solidarity with Lebanon

Help Displaced Families in Lebanon
Help Displaced Families in Lebanon As countless Lebanese families have fled their homes, seeking shelter in Beirut, they’ve been left with nothing—no food, water, or even bedding as they sleep on the floors. I’m raising funds to provide relief to as many of these displaced families as possible. A school in my neighborhood is now filled with thousands of people who have nowhere else to go. In all the years I’ve known my father, one of the strongest men I’ve ever met, I’ve never heard his voice break—until he described the heartbreaking conditions these families are enduring. We are devastated. No donation is too small, and your kindness can make a world of difference in their time of need. If you’d like to help directly through me, please reach out via Facebook or phone. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your generosity. Rana

Support Displaced Lebanese Refugees
Help Displaced Families in Lebanon: Stand with Us During This Crisis The recent war activities on Lebanon have forced hundreds of thousands of families from their homes, leaving behind everything. Thousands of people have tragically lost their lives or have been injured. Many families have fled North to schools, social centers, and makeshift shelters away from effected areas, where they are now struggling to meet their basic daily needs. These families desperately need food, water, clothing, medical care, and safe places to stay. With your help, we can bring relief to those who have been displaced by the violence. We are raising funds to provide immediate and life-saving assistance to those women, children and elderlies. Every donation will directly impact those by offering: • Essential supplies like food, water, and hygiene kits • Sheets, pillows and sleeping bags, • Baby milk, diapers, wipes and other nursing essentials • Clothing, shoes, and detergent, This initiative will help those families – your contribution is critical. Each dollar you donate will help restore dignity to these vulnerable families, giving them the chance to survive in the face of uncertainty. Together, we can show solidarity with those victims. How You Can Help: • Donate: Your support will provide food, medical care, and shelter to displaced families. • Spread the Word: Share this campaign with your network, encouraging others to join in this critical cause. • Stay Informed: Follow our updates to see exactly how your donations are making a difference. Help Dr. Issa and his family from Gaza. 🙏💔

Help Dr. Issa and his family from Gaza. 🙏💔
My name is Issa, a doctor from Gaza currently studying in Egypt. I am the only son my family depends on—the hope for my parents and my six sisters, and the support they turn to in times of hardship. I am also a husband, holding onto the love of my life while fearing the impact of war that has severely affected my financial situation. Life in war is a daily struggle with fear and uncertainty. Every day, we try to stay strong, but inside we carry exhaustion, pain, and fragile dreams that are afraid to grow in a world filled with destruction. War doesn’t just take what we have—it drains our souls. In the midst of all this, love becomes our only refuge—our way to survive. I humbly ask for your support to help me continue my studies, pay my tuition, and support my family so I can stand strong for them and build a better future for all of us. 🙏❤️ If you would like to reach out to me personally or learn more about my situation and my family, please feel free to contact me on WhatsApp: +201055200839 اسمي عيسى، طبيب من غزة أدرس حاليًا في مصر.

Run for Lebanon: Supporting Mothers and Babies

Run for Lebanon: Supporting Mothers and Babies
Hello! My name is Ameera Mazraany and I am a Lebanese-American living in Miami, Florida. I am running the Key Biscayne Half Marathon on April 12, 2026 to raise money for families displaced by the war in Lebanon. Right now, many displaced families are struggling to access basic necessities while staying in schools or temporary shelters such as churches, mosques, or public spaces, often sharing a single classroom with 10–20 people who may not even be part of their family. Some are even sleeping in cars. A contact on the ground in Tyre shared that he walks around searching for mothers with babies sleeping in cars so they can be given milk and diapers. While many organizations provide food and basic supplies, support for mothers and infants remains very limited. Something as simple as milk, diapers, or wipes has become difficult to access, and families are forced to make impossible choices every day. My goal is to support 50 mothers and their babies for one full month. Each $60 donation provides one month of necessities for a mother and her baby. The monthly cost breakdown is: - Milk: $40 - Diapers: $15 - Wipes: $5 Even one contribution can make a difference. $60 supports one mother and baby, $120 supports two families, and $300 supports five families. All funds will go to my aunt, Samah, who is on the ground in Lebanon purchasing and delivering essential supplies directly to mothers with infants in need, ensuring that every dollar goes toward essentials that are immediately needed. My Venmo is @ameeramaz if you have trouble donating on this site. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would mean a lot to me, my family, and the displaced families you are supporting.

Save Me Before It’s Too Late
This is a rescue outreach dedicated to saving vulnerable animals in urgent need of medical care, food, and shelter. Every case shared here represents a life fighting to survive—injured, abandoned, or suffering without access to treatment. The goal is simple: respond fast, treat faster, and give each animal a real chance at recovery. We rely on compassion, visibility, and support to keep going. Sharing, commenting, or contributing helps turn critical moments into survival stories. No life should be left to struggle alone.
