🌍 Help Me Become a Humanitarian Leader

🌍 Help Me Become a Humanitarian Leader
🌍 Help Me Become a Humanitarian Leader – George’s Story My name is George Sogoja, a passionate young humanitarian from Tanzania. I have been accepted into the prestigious Master of Arts in International Humanitarian Action at the University of Malta, starting this September 2025 – a dream come true. This Master's program, part of the Network on Humanitarian Action (NOHA), is globally respected for training humanitarian leaders. It will equip me with the skills to respond to global crises, support refugees, and contribute to peacebuilding efforts in Africa and beyond. Growing up in Tanzania, I have witnessed the impacts of conflict, climate disasters, and inequality. My passion is to be part of the solution – to support vulnerable communities through effective humanitarian response and policy work. I am now reaching out to kind individuals, friends, well-wishers, and organizations to help raise the necessary funds to pursue this life-changing opportunity. 💰What I Need To attend the program, I need to raise €24,000 (~60 million TZS), which will cover: • Tuition fees: €16,000 • Visa and travel costs: €2,000 • Living expenses and accommodation: €6,000 I’ve already started applying to scholarships and reaching out to NGOs, but I need your help to bridge the gap. 🙏 How You Can Help Any contribution, large or small, will bring me closer to my dream. Even sharing this page with your network would mean the world to me. Your support will not only change my life — it will enable me to help others in crisis through humanitarian service for years to come. Thank You Thank you for believing in me and my mission to serve humanity. I promise to use this opportunity to give back, inspire, and uplift those in need. With heartfelt gratitude, George Sogoja

Mahmoud: A story of love for life under occupatio
For eighteen months, Gaza has been under relentless attack by the Israeli occupation. For Mahmoud Maher Rouhi Al-Zarba and his family, war is not just a news headline, but a cruel and devastating reality. In 2008, Mahmoud lost his sight, part of his leg, and a finger on his left hand due to a bombing. Despite this, he found light in the lives of his six children, working tirelessly to give them a future. But in October 2023, tragedy struck his home again. The attacks left his family in a constant struggle for survival, without access to basic resources and with fear as their daily companion. His children, too young to understand the cruelty of war, now only know despair. This isn't just the pain of one family. It's the reflection of an entire people who continue to resist, waiting for the world to hear their cry for help. Mahmoud and thousands of families in Gaza need urgent help. **Every donation can mean food, medicine, and shelter for those who have lost everything. Every voice that shares this story on social media is one step closer to justice. Every conversation about Gaza keeps the memory of those struggling to survive alive.** Don't remain silent. Share, donate, speak out. Let's echo his story until the world listens. 👉 **Share this message.** 💰 **Donate and help change lives.** 🗣️ **Speak out about Gaza. Help my mother fight against Breast Cancer

Help my mother fight against Breast Cancer
Urgent Help Needed: My Mother is Battling Aggressive Breast Cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 3) and Needs Life-Saving Treatment Dear Friends, and Kind Strangers, I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. My beloved mother, a 54-year-old widow who has dedicated her life to raising us, has recently been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 3 Breast Cancer, an aggressive form of cancer that has already spread to her lymph nodes. This diagnosis has come at a time when our family is already facing immense financial strain. Just in January, my mother underwent a major shoulder surgery (surgical repair of tendon tear, acromioclavicular joint excision, and acromioplasty). This procedure cost us over 1 million PKR (approximately $3,600 USD), pushing us deep into debt. She is still in the crucial recovery phase from this surgery and requires ongoing physiotherapy, which we've heartbreakingly had to discontinue due to lack of funds. The initial diagnostic tests for her cancer – mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy – alone cost us approximately $800, a sum we struggled immensely to gather. Now, the doctors have advised a critical series of further tests, including: * Multiple CT scans * Bone scan * Estrogen receptor test * Progesterone receptor test * HER2 test * Biopsy and histopathological evaluation of the axillary lymph nodes These crucial tests are estimated to cost over $2,000. Without these diagnostics, her life-saving cancer treatment cannot begin, and every day of delay is a risk to her life. Our immediate goal is to raise $4,500. This amount will cover: * The essential diagnostic tests (over $2,000) * Crucial nutritional support for her cancer treatment, as a specialized diet is vital for her recovery and strength. * Safe travel expenses for her medical appointments within Karachi, as she cannot use public transport given her health condition and recent surgery. * The unpaid rent of the last 6 months amounting to 1500$ otherwise the we would have to vacate the house next month My mother has faced life's challenges with incredible resilience, especially after losing my father 20 years ago. We live in a rented house and do not have a stable source of income. We have exhausted all our resources and are currently unable to borrow any more funds due to our existing debt. We are in a race against time. The rapid progression of this cancer means we need to act swiftly. Your support, no matter how small, can make an immediate and life-saving difference in her fight against cancer. Please consider donating and sharing our story. Every dollar brings us closer to getting my mother the urgent care she desperately needs. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion and generosity. Here's how you can help: * Donate directly * Share this post: Help us reach a wider audience by sharing this on your social media. * Send your prayers and positive thoughts.

Protect Young Girls from Danger and Keep Them Safe

Protect Young Girls from Danger and Keep Them Safe
Water for Life: Empowering Bukoba with safe water, security to young girls and women, bring hope and opportunity Dear Friends and Supporters, My name is Seif Khalifan, and I am reaching out to you with an urgent and heartfelt plea for help. I am fundraising to provide safe and sanitary water to the residents of Bukoba district in Kagera, Tanzania, where over 67,409 people in five villages are struggling with access to clean water. This lack of access to safe water is not just a daily inconvenience and it is a serious public health issue, and it is hindering the future of an entire generation. The wards affected by this crisis include: - Kaibanja Ward - Nyakibimbili Ward - Katoro Ward - Kyamulaile Ward - Izimbya Ward For these communities, obtaining water is a long, dangerous journey. Families are forced to use contaminated sources of water that cause waterborne diseases, making them vulnerable to illnesses like cholera and dysentery. But there is a deeper, more tragic impact on the lives of young girls and women in these areas. Many girls have been forced to drop out of school simply because they spend most of their time fetching water, which prevents them from pursuing their education and achieving their dreams. What's even more heart-wrenching is the troubling rise in gender-based violence. In 2024 alone, *506 girls and women were victims of rape* while making these dangerous trips to collect water. This is a heartbreaking reality for a community already suffering from the lack of clean water and resources. The need is urgent. By providing safe, accessible water sources within these villages, we can help eliminate the threat of disease, reduce the time and danger involved in fetching water, and ultimately empower young girls to stay in school and build better futures for themselves and their families. What your donation will do: 1. Build safe water wells and filtration systems in the affected villages. 2. Establish community-led water management systems to ensure long-term sustainability. 3. Educate the local communities on sanitation practices and hygiene. 4. Provide protection and support for vulnerable girls and women, ensuring their safety as they go about their daily lives. This cause is not just about water…it’s about changing lives. It’s about giving children a chance to learn, women a chance to thrive, and entire communities the opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty and violence. Join us in making a difference.* Your support, no matter how big or small, will help provide life-saving water and give the people of Bukoba the hope and opportunities they deserve. Together, we can make this vision a reality. Thank you for your kindness and support. With hope, Seif Khalifan Fundraiser for Safe Water in Bukoba, Tanzania

2024 School tuitions

Education

2024 School tuitions
Dear Sirs, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with deep humility to ask for any possible assistance — or even guidance — regarding my child’s school fees for the current academic year. Due to the ongoing economic hardships in Lebanon, my family and I have been facing significant financial challenges. Despite all efforts to seek support from organizations, schools, and aid programs, I have not yet been able to secure help. My children Maribelle is in grade EB8 and Mikaelle is in grade EB6 at St. Charles School. The total remaining fee for the year is $3,500, which I am currently unable to cover. I believe strongly in the value of education, and I am doing everything I can to ensure my child remains in school and continues to learn and grow. If you are in a position to help, or if you know someone who might be willing to sponsor or contribute in any way, I would be deeply grateful. Any amount — even the smallest — would make a meaningful difference. I am happy to provide any school documents or further details upon request. I fully understand the limitations many people are facing, and I appreciate your time and consideration more than words can express. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. With sincere gratitude, Mariana Semaan +961 3 715 021
