I’m Fighting to Quit Alcohol

Medical

I’m Fighting to Quit Alcohol
I’m fighting to quit alcohol and rebuild my life. Your support will help me stay sober, heal emotionally, and return stronger. I’ve always believed in helping others, and today, for the first time, I’m asking for help—for myself. 🤍 ⸻ 🟦 1. A Creative Soul, Broken by Circumstance My name is Mahmoud, a Syrian creative, a big brother to three beautiful sisters 👨‍👧‍👧, and someone who has always believed in doing good for others. The war forced me to leave my country and rebuild my life from scratch. Despite all challenges, I kept going — until life knocked me down harder than ever. ⸻ 🟦 2. My Mother’s Illness… and Losing Everything A few years ago, my mother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an aggressive and painful form of cancer 🎗️. I dropped everything — my work, my stability, my ambitions — to take care of her. She was my anchor, and I couldn’t imagine life without her. I gave her everything I could, emotionally and physically, until she passed away a year and a half ago. Her death shattered me 💔. Around that same time, the person I loved left me — unable to handle the emotional weight I was carrying. I slipped into a deep depression, and alcohol became my only escape. ⸻ 🟦 3. I’m Not Ashamed to Say: I Need Help I’ve always been the one who gives — my time, my effort, my love. But this time, I’m reaching out for something I never asked for before: support 🤲 I want to stop drinking permanently. I want to heal. I want to rise again and be the version of myself that I know still exists. But I need help to do it. Not pity, not charity — just sincere support from people who still believe in second chances. ⸻ 🟦 4. Where Your Support Will Go 💸 Every dollar will go toward: • 🧠 Continued sobriety support (therapy, basic living costs) • 🛌 Mental health recovery (sessions, structure, food, sleep) • 🏠 Monthly rent support, to secure a safe and stable home during recovery • 🧾 Paying off an old debt that has been weighing heavily on me for years • 📚 Supporting my personal growth (training, new habits) • 💼 Starting fresh (rebuilding my freelance work in marketing) ⸻ 🟦 5. How You Can Help ❤️ • 💳 Donate whatever you can — no amount is too small • 🔁 Share this story with your network • 🙏 Pray for my healing and my strength I believe in miracles, in kindness, and in people 🌍 I’m not proud of everything I’ve been through — but I’m proud to be standing here, clean for over 10 days, and asking for a future. Please help me keep walking this path 🕊️ ⸻ 🟦 6. This Isn’t Just About Me Part of your support will go beyond just helping me. I know someone else who’s also struggling with alcohol — someone good-hearted and sincere. I will use part of what I raise to support his journey to sobriety too. Healing feels more real when it’s shared 🤝 ⸻ 🟦 7. Investing in My Work and Purpose I work in creative marketing — design, storytelling, helping others grow their brands 🎨 This has always been a source of joy and pride for me. Your support will allow me to invest back into my work so I can restart, reconnect with clients, and create freely again without the shadow of debt or shame. I want to serve again, not just survive. ⸻ 🟦 8. Replacing the Addiction with Growth I’ve enrolled in an evening course 🌙 to replace my drinking time with learning 📖 Every evening, at the same hour I used to numb myself, I will now learn, focus, and grow. This isn’t a symbolic gesture — it’s a strategic commitment. I am rewiring my nights, and my life. ⸻ 🟦 9. Who I Am, Honestly I’m not perfect, but I’m real. I’ve fallen, but I’m not ashamed to say that I want to rise. I’m a Syrian creative, a brother, a helper, a believer in goodness 💡 I’ve supported others many times in silence — this time, I’m asking for someone to support me. Not out of pity. Not with conditions. Just for the sake of God, for the sake of kindness, and for the sake of one more chance. I’m telling you this with all honesty, all humility, and all faith 🕊️ Your support will not go to waste — it will be invested in healing, in change, in life. In memory of my mother the strongest woman I’ve ever known

Build a better tomorrow

Business

Build a better tomorrow
I didn’t start A&S Poultry because I had it all figured out. I started it because I was desperate—not for wealth, but for a way out of struggle. After losing both parents at a young age, I learned quickly that hunger is not just a feeling. It’s a pain. It’s the sound of your child asking for food you can’t afford. It’s watching neighbors suffer, knowing you can’t help them. But then came a bird. And an egg. With borrowed funds, I bought my first crate of day-old chicks. I cared for them like family. They gave me eggs, and those eggs gave me hope. What started with a few birds is now feeding dozens of families. Children are healthier. Women in my community earn income through resale. We’re not just farming—we’re restoring dignity. But we want to do more. Your support will help us expand our poultry to serve more families, create jobs, and fight malnutrition across rural Kwara State. Every egg we produce is more than food—it’s a second chance. Help us hatch a better tomorrow. Donate to A&S Poultry today—because hope sometimes comes in a shell.

Help us get a home after our building collapsed
My name is Ahmed, I’m from Egypt, and I’m in urgent need of your support and donations. After twenty years of moving from one rented apartment to another, my family and I were finally able to buy a home using all the money we had saved. But just seven months later, the entire building collapsed — and with it, all our dreams. We found ourselves back at square one. The tragedy didn’t stop there. After the incident, my father was deeply affected and suffered a stroke that left him unable to work. He now requires extensive medical care and several surgeries. We are humbly asking for your support. We need $30,000 to rebuild our home and $8,000 to help cover our father's medical treatment. Please help us bring stability back to our lives and give our father the care he desperately needs. Every contribution makes a difference.

A Doctor in the Making — Help Fund My Education

Education

A Doctor in the Making — Help Fund My Education
Hi, I am Joshua, a 19-year-old Filipino-Irish student who dreams of becoming a doctor. I was recently accepted into the 7-year Accelerated Pathway for Medicine (APMed) Program at Cebu Doctors’ University – College of Medicine in the Philippines, and I’m about to begin my first year. Becoming a doctor has been my dream since I was a child. It’s not just a career to me — it’s a calling. I want to help people without hesitation, especially in their most vulnerable moments. This dream is deeply personal because my parents also dreamed of becoming doctors when they were my age. Both of them are pre-med graduates—my father earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, and my mother a Bachelor of Science in Biology. However, due to my parents' financial situation back then, it was impossible for them to reach their dream of becoming doctors. Despite their struggles, I am lucky and grateful for my parents because they have loved and cared for me and my brother with everything they have. They sacrificed so much to give us a better life than they had, even if it meant putting their own goals and dreams aside. Because they couldn’t reach their dream, I want to fulfill it for them by having me, their son, be a doctor. I want to make all their sacrifices count because I love them more than they could ever know. Another reason why I want to become a doctor comes from an experience I had when I was 10 years old. I had a severe and excruciatingly painful middle ear infection during a holiday week when limited doctors were available and clinics were closed except for the emergency department. The pain was unbearable, but the emergency room was overcrowded with patients who had more critical cases. We waited six long hours before a doctor could see me. It was one of the hardest experiences of my life—feeling helpless and in pain, not knowing when relief would come. Then, a miracle happened. A doctor, who was a friend of my mother, answered our call even though he was on vacation. Without hesitation, he rushed to his clinic to help me. Within 30 minutes, he thoroughly examined my ear and said I needed surgery immediately because the infection was severe. That afternoon, he operated on me, and the pain started to fade. I was able to recover fully in just three days, all because of him. That doctor’s kindness, quick action, and selfless care planted the seed for my passion to become a healer like him. I want to help others in the same way—without hesitation, no matter the circumstances. Now, my family is facing financial struggles like those my parents faced years ago. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, my family’s income has been greatly reduced due to salary cuts, making it really difficult to meet basic needs, let alone afford medical school tuition. The cost of my education is more than we can bear. This is why I am asking for your help. Supporting my medical education means more than just paying tuition—it means investing in a future dedicated to saving countless lives and giving hope. It means helping me carry forward a legacy of sacrifice and determination. With your kindness, I can take this next step toward becoming a doctor and changing lives for the better. If you believe in the power of dreams, the strength of family, and the impact one person can make, please consider supporting me. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to my goal and means the world to me and my family. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your generosity today will help heal many lives tomorrow. Sincerely, Joshua

A Deserving Student’s Dream to pursure medical edu
I am an 18-year-old student from India. I have been eligible to study for 6-year MBBS program at Lomonosov First Moscow State Medical University (MSU) — based on my qualifications which is Russia’s most prestigious medical college (94th ranked in the world universities. After years of hard work, studying for NEET and preparing day and night, I finally received this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — but I now face a heartbreaking obstacle: I cannot afford the $80,000 (₹67 lakh) total fee.I promise to work parttime to afford my hostel fee living expenses, books and other expenses and would share you my scores and everything till the course completes My family is financially limited, and despite all efforts, I have no scholarship or bank support. I am reaching out with sincere hope — looking for someone who can help me protect this opportunity and turn my dream into reality. I am not seeking charity, but belief. Your support could help me become a doctor and serve the very society that raised me. Even a small contribution or a referral to someone who could assist would mean the world. I can provide any verification documents, and I promise full honesty and updates. Thank you for reading this — you may be my last hope. 🙏 Gratefully, #SaveMyDream #FutureDoctor #MedicalStudent

Help me to have a safe home
Hello, dear soul. My name is Gunel. I’m 27 years old and I work as a middle school teacher. I grew up in a deeply patriarchal society, where I faced both emotional and physical abuse. Despite everything, I’ve tried to stand on my own feet, build a life with dignity, and bring light to the lives of my students. My biggest dream now is to have a small, peaceful home — a place where I can finally feel safe and human. If 50000 people sent just $1, I could make this dream come true. If you’re unable to give money, even a kind prayer or a good wish from your heart would mean a lot. Thank you — truly — for reading this. With love, Gunel
