The Relentless battle bron from pain
Dear Sir / Madam,
My name is Matheesha, a young man from Sri Lanka i'm facing one of the hardest periods of his life. I am writing this letter with a heavy heart, not to complain, but to express the reality my family and I are trapped in, and to humbly ask for any support or kindness you may be able to offer.
My mother is suffering from a serious heart condition, and watching her struggle every day is one of the most painful things I experience. She has carried our family through many storms, but now her strength is fading. My father is no longer with us, and the entire responsibility of our household has fallen onto my shoulders. I have two younger sisters who look up to me, and although I am still a student, I am forced to be the protector, the provider, and the hope for my family.
Our home is barely a home anymore. When it rains, water drips from the roof and soaks our beds. When the wind blows, the walls shake. At night, we fear for our safety because the structure is weak. We do not have the ability to repair it, let alone build a new one. The weight of medical bills, school needs, and daily survival leaves us with nothing more than prayers and courage.
I am writing this letter not to gain sympathy, but because I no longer have the strength to fight alone. I am reaching out with the hope that someone with a kind heart will understand the pain of a young man who is trying his best to protect his mother and sisters while carrying burdens far heavier than his age.
Any help — whether it is for housing, medical needs, or even simple guidance — would be a blessing that my family will never forget. Even the smallest support can change the course of our lives. We are not asking for luxury; only for a chance to live safely, to breathe without fear, and to give my mother the comfort she deserves.
