Hello, I'm Hasitha, and I'm organizing this campaign on behalf of a brave and resilient man and his family. This is his story: My name is Isuru, I am 38 years old, and I live in Sri Lanka, in a small village where life is already a daily struggle for survival. But beyond poverty and hardship, I now face the most difficult challenge of my life — a fight against malignant liver cancer and chronic heart disease. Doctors have informed me that my condition is at an advanced stage. Without urgent medical treatment, I may not have much time left. In Sri Lanka, especially in rural areas, access to specialized medical care is extremely limited, and the cost of private treatment is far beyond what my family and I can afford. I’ve tried to stay strong for my loved ones, but each day brings more pain, more fatigue, and more fear. I've lost weight, my appetite is gone, and every movement feels heavier than the last. I can no longer work or support my family as I once did. My children see me growing weaker, and I can see the worry in their eyes. Today, I speak from a place of vulnerability — but also hope. I’m reaching out with an open heart, asking for your support. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward the urgent treatment I need. It’s not just about prolonging life — it’s about giving me a chance to be there for my family, to fight this illness with the dignity and strength that everyone deserves. Your generosity could be the turning point in this journey. With your help, I might live to see better days, to rebuild our future, and to raise my family’s spirits in the face of despair. Please, be the light that guides us out of this darkness. Help me complete this journey. Thank you to everyone who donates or shares this campaign. Your kindness and support may be the reason I get another chance at life. May you be rewarded for your compassion.

Help Mona & Dana Raise Funds for Cancer and Autism
They say you don’t truly know how strong you are until being strong is your only option. Life can hit us with moments that knock the wind out of us, literally and figuratively. For us, Dana and Mona, those moments came in very different forms, but they brought us to the same place: a deep desire to rise up and give back. About Mona’s experience - Last year, I faced a frightening health diagnosis - one of those terrifying pauses in life that changes everything. What began as a routine exam became an alarming medical evaluation when I learned I had breast cancer. Thankfully detected at its earliest most treatable stage, it was surgically removed, and today I’m healthy, strong, and profoundly grateful. Yet my own swift recovery only deepened my awareness of how many people struggle to access early detection, the right treatments, and the emotional support they—and their families—desperately need. That’s why I’m determined to give back: to help ensure more lives are saved through timely diagnosis, quality care, and compassionate community resources. About Dana’s experience: Ten years ago, my first son Zayn was born, almost dead - he stopped oxygen to himself fully for 7 minutes during birth. Those 7 minutes led to weeks in the NICU, developmental delays, years of searching for a diagnosis and necessary therapies as well as endless learning around love, surrender, gratitude and the beauty of the world through his eyes. We have been blessed with the ability to provide him with the best doctors and therapists along the way. Today, Zayn is thankfully thriving on the autism spectrum and enriching our lives like we could not have imagined. I’d like to do my part in ensuring other families get a similar opportunity to thrive. Both experiences left a mark - and a mission. This summer, to honour our journeys and support others still facing their own, we’ve committed to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro side by side. Together, we’re turning our personal trials into a shared mission of hope, healing and support - shedding light on the work of two amazing NGOs in Lebanon that are deeply personal to us, while also raising $50,000 to support their mission and beneficiaries: Barbara Nassar Association for Cancer Patient Support, an organisation committed to guiding and supporting cancer patients and their families psychologically and financially, by advocating on behalf of patients and providing access to consultations, services, supportive care and medications free of charge; and OpenMinds, an organisation dedicated to empowering children and young adults with autism and neurodevelopmental differences — providing access to therapies, inclusive education and vocational training to families that otherwise would not be able to afford them. We’d be deeply honoured if you’d follow our story, share it, and support these organisations if you're able. Every step we take up that mountain will be for those still facing their own uphill battle, and the life-changing work of these two incredible organisations. With love and gratitude, Mona and Dana

Request for Computer Donation for My Daughter’s
Dear, I am writing to you today, in March, with a humble request. My daughter is currently pursuing her studies with great dedication, but she is facing a significant challenge. she does not have access to a computer. In today’s world, a computer is not a luxury but a necessity for students. It is essential for attending online classes, completing assignments, and accessing educational resources. As a parent, I want to support her dreams and give her the tools she needs to succeed. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, I am unable to provide her with a computer at this time. I kindly ask if you or your organization could consider donating a computer to help her continue her education without obstacles. Your generosity could make a lasting impact on her future. Thank you for taking the time to read my request. Any support you can offer would mean the world to us. Sincerely, A.K.A.K. Nirodha Amarasinghe anirodha304@gmail.com

Need a Urgent Liver Transplant 🙏 Please Help Save My Life – I’m K. Chamilka Harshan Hi everyone, My name is K. Chamilka Harshan (NIC: 200305900649). I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your help during the hardest time in my life. I’ve been diagnosed with severe chronic liver disease, and doctors have told me that I urgently need a liver transplant within the next 4 to 6 weeks. Without this surgery, my condition will get worse, and I may not survive. My consultant, Prof. Thamara Perera (Liver Transplant Surgeon – Kings Hospital, Colombo), has also confirmed that I have a high risk of developing cholangiocarcinoma, a serious type of cancer, which makes the transplant extremely urgent and life-saving. The total cost for the transplant is around LKR 15 million (Rs. 15,000,000). This amount is far beyond what my family can afford. That’s why I’m humbly asking for your support — to help me get this treatment and survive. ⸻ 💛 How You Can Help Your kind donations will go towards: • Liver transplant surgery • Hospital and ICU costs • Medication • Post-surgery care and recovery ⸻ 🏦 Bank Account Details for Donations Account Name: K. C. Harshan Account Number: 1141 5230 9905 Bank: Sampath Bank Branch: Karapitiya ⸻ 📞 Contact Numbers (My Parents): • 077 707 6289 • 076 869 0452 Please feel free to call if you’d like more information or want to help in any way. ⸻ This is not easy for me to ask, but I have no other option. I’m still holding on to hope — and with your help, I believe I can make it through. Even if you can’t donate, please share this with others. That alone could save my life. Thank you so much for reading this and for your kindness. With love and hope, K. Chamilka Harshan Documentations
