Help Me Buy a Laptop to Change My Life Through Education & Freelancing.
Hello, my name is Sudeshi. I'm a young woman from Sri Lanka with a dream that feels just out of reach — to build a better future through learning and online work. But to take the first step, I need your help.
I’m currently without a laptop — the one tool I need most. With it, I can take online courses, start freelancing as a writer and graphic designer, and earn an income to support myself and my father.
My life has not been easy. My mother passed away when I was just 16, and now I’m the sole caretaker for my father, who suffers from dementia and heart disease. I handle everything on my own — from caregiving to trying to earn money — but without a laptop, my options are very limited.
I’ve been teaching myself skills like article writing, design, and freelancing, but I can’t move forward until I have the right tools.
I’m kindly asking for $1,200 USD to buy a basic laptop, internet access, and a few essentials to get started. Your support will:
1. Allow me to begin working on Upwork, Fiverr, and other platforms
2. Help me provide for my father’s medical needs
3.Give me the chance to become independent and rebuild my life
