My Journey to Becoming a Fashion Designer: A Dream Worth Fighting For
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always looked at clothes not just as fabric — but as stories. Every stitch, every cut, every color felt like a voice trying to speak through art. Growing up, I used to turn old clothes into something new with just a needle and thread, because that was all I had. Fashion became more than just a dream — it became my escape, my hope, and my purpose.
But chasing a dream in a country where opportunities are rare is never easy. I’ve faced countless obstacles — from financial struggles to lack of resources. I’ve borrowed phones just to create content and share my designs with the world. I’ve worked small jobs that barely pay $50 a month, yet I still find myself sketching designs late into the night because the dream keeps calling me.
Now, I’ve been given a chance — a chance to study at a real fashion school, to finally learn professionally, and build the foundation I’ve been fighting for all these years. But I can’t do it alone.
