Two days ago after spending some time at home to recover, I found out that my eardrum was punctured and needed an emergency Tympanoplasty. At the moment I'm in no way near the cost of the operation , the operation will cost from 3500 up to 5000. Heritage Bites: Women's Empowerment in Bekaa

In the midst of economic turmoil and rising vulnerabilities among families in Lebanon, our startup project aims to make a difference by empowering women, particularly housewives, to generate income and regain their independence. We believe that empowering women not only fosters self-reliance but also preserves the dignity of vulnerable families in the Bekaa area. Our mission is to harness their culinary skills to produce high-quality traditional foods, which we will sell in local marketplaces. By doing so, we are not only providing exceptional, locally-made delicacies but also fostering a sense of community and self-sustainability. Our project revolves around the heartwarming traditions and flavors of Lebanon, where food is not just sustenance but a symbol of culture, heritage, and love. We have found that many women possess incredible skills in preparing traditional dishes passed down through generations. However, due to the economic crisis, these skills often remain underutilized. Our project acts as a bridge between these women and the marketplace, offering them a chance to transform their talents into a source of income.

My Dad has been diagnosed with an advanced stage cancer in his neck. Doctors have informed me that he requires 30 session of chemo and radiation. He is retired and I am the only member working in the family. Currently he needs undergo his treatment asap. I am writing this in extreme need of financial help since my salary is not able to cover our daily life expenses ( food & utility bills), our financial situation been drastically affected by the devaluation of the local currency in Lebanon. OPEN HEART SURGERY

Helen is a 28 year old born and raised in Syria. She has grown to be a wonderful courageous lady, graduating with a degree in nutrition in a Beirut, Lebanon. Helen needs a cardiac valve replacement surgery and pectus excavatum repair which is a severe deformity left over in the chest cage that resulted from a previous open heart surgery. Helen was born with a heart condition called tetralogy of Fallot and had it repaired as a young child, and that repair helped her for about 26 years. But now her heart is failing and her pulmonary valve is leaking and it needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Helen needs your help to keep her heart going. She has been following up with her surgeon in Jordan where she had her initial surgery. He is the best surgeon to continue her care and she is going to see him soon for her planned surgery. The cost of the surgery will exceed $22,000 according to the letter she received from her surgeon’s office. She is required to pay the cost in advance in order to book her surgery. As you may imagine, that’s a lot of money, in addition to taking a break from work, paying travel costs, as well as hospital stay and intensive care unit expenses, then her long recovery time to follow. That’s why Helen needs all the help she can get to collect this amount of money for her surgery and recovery. h have a long friendship with Helena, and at the same time she is the nutritionist responsible for my health condition.

Nazih, 54 Years old Lebanese father of four, is currently at Hotel Dieu Hospital in an urgent condition, and could lose his foot.
