Help Us Restore Safe Public Spaces in Oman!

Emergency

Help Us Restore Safe Public Spaces in Oman!
Help Us Restore Safe Public Spaces in Oman! Across Oman, our parks, playgrounds, and public spaces play a vital role in community life. They provide places for children to play, families to gather, and residents to connect. However, when these spaces become damaged or unsafe, they pose serious risks, especially for our children and elderly citizens. Our goal is to restore and repair unsafe public infrastructure in Oman, ensuring that these spaces are safe and welcoming for all. Working in close cooperation with local authorities, we are identifying areas in need of urgent repair—whether it’s a broken swing in a playground, unsafe sidewalks, or damaged public facilities. With your help, we can act quickly to restore these spaces and ensure they meet the highest safety standards. Why Your Support is Crucial Repairing public spaces requires resources—construction materials, permits, labor, and expertise. While authorities are supporting us in the approval process, the actual repairs depend on the generosity of people like you. Every riyal you donate will directly fund the materials and labor needed to make these repairs happen. Your support will help make Oman’s public spaces safe and enjoyable for everyone, including families, children, and the elderly. Your Contribution Will Help: • Fix broken playground equipment in our parks, ensuring children can play safely. • Repair cracked or uneven walkways, preventing accidents and injuries. • Restore benches, lighting, and other public facilities to enhance community spaces. • Collaborate with local municipalities to ensure the highest safety standards are met. Let’s Work Together for a Safer Oman Whether you can give OMR 2 or OMR 200, (5 $ - 500 $ ) your donation will make a lasting impact on the safety of our communities. By joining us in this effort, you’re helping to protect Oman’s future, ensuring that our public spaces remain safe and vibrant for generations to come. Donate today and be a part of making Oman safer for everyone!

Help Lebanon with the crisis please!

Help Lebanon with the crisis please!
Hi everyone, my name is Abdel salam alkorhani from Tripoli, Lebanon. i'm a mechanical engineer graduated in france and came back to work in my home country. I know all of you are aware of the war situation in south Lebanon. towns are being bombed everyday. Thousands of building got destroyed and more than 500,000 person left there towns and cities. These people went north seeking a safe place and most of them arrived to my cities. they are now residing in schools and abandoned hotels, and some of them are actually living in the streets. So every person in the city is trying to help with what they can. But a person can't provide that much due to the economical state of the country and the currency crash. For that reason I'm starting this campaign to raise some money to help the displaced people in my area by providing them with mattresses, beds, food and all the essentials they might need. We are aiming to raise 20000$ which can help more than 100 families survive in this tough situation. Any amount can help us as little as it can be. i hope the situation in my country change soon.

A Lebanese family in need

Solidarity with Lebanon

A Lebanese family in need
I created this fundraising campaign for a family whose home in Baalbeck was destroyed due to the ongoing war in Lebanon. The family consists of a disabled mother, her single daughter, her married daughter with her husband and five children (including a toddler), and her son with his family of four. They are all currently living in a small apartment in Basta, Beirut, which barely accommodates them. Most of the children in the family are underage and unable to work, leaving them in a difficult financial situation. With the mother being disabled and in need of constant medication and diapers, and her eldest daughter caring for a 10-month-old baby, they are struggling to meet even their most basic needs. I am raising funds to help them purchase essential items such as diapers, medication, bedding, and food supplies. As Lebanon is in a state of war, we must come together to support each other during these challenging times. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in helping this family survive.

Help Us Rebuild Our Broken Lives💔

Help Us Rebuild Our Broken Lives💔
UPDATES: To everyone who donated, THANK YOU so much, my Family and I are blessed, grateful and appreciative to everyone of you. with the amount raised till date we were able to rent 2 furnished apartments for us and another family who is in need and have no one to take care of and who lost their father during the war, so now the mom and her 4 children can live in a furnished apartment knowing that nothing can replace their father but we are trying our best to provide them with everything they need. For us, we are taking care of our injuries, going to doctors appointments at St. Georges Orthodox Hospital (Al Roum), we lost our elderly single uncle due to his injuries, but we made our best to have him live a good life with us. Beside having our day to day needs, livelihood essentials and medical bills, the burial expenses were added. We just start having our live on track we have a long way, but we are really blessed. Below is our campaign, and this will be our last time for extending this campaign, there are families that needs donations more than us, and we are now feeling guilty of receiving donations. Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls, Today, I come to you with a heavy heart. Our lives have been turned upside down due to the devastating war in Lebanon. Our home was damaged beyond repair, forcing us to flee immediately, leaving behind everything we owned. We sought refuge in Beirut, along with countless other displaced families. The attached pictures, taken by our neighbor who is a soldier in the Lebanese Army, show the destruction we left behind in our village in South Lebanon. As we were moving from a school shelter in Ras el Nabeh - Beirut to what we hoped would be a safe new start in an apartment in Antelias - Mount Lebanon, tragedy struck again. A building near us was bombed, and we found ourselves caught in the aftermath. Injuries were inevitable. My mom sustained a back injury, my dad's left arm was hurt, and my brother, who was driving the car, suffered a head injury from shattered glass. I, too, was injured, hurting my knee while helping my parents out of harm’s way. Thankfully, my sister and her children were unharmed, but the chaos and fear we endured are beyond words. While pictures of our injuries are available, we cannot share them publicly as they contain graphic content, including blood and torn tissue. These images are a stark reminder of the pain we have endured and the urgent need for medical care. The bombing forced us to change our route and seek immediate medical care at St. Georges Orthodox Hospital in Achrafieh. The injuries we suffered require ongoing medical attention, including routine check-ups, consultations, and care. This has added another heavy burden to our already overwhelming challenges. In addition to finding a stable place to live (Hopefully), some of us are dealing with injuries that require long term medical attention. These challenges weigh heavily on us, but we continue to hold on to hope and faith. We are a family of nine—my mom, dad, brother, elderly uncle, my sister, her husband, and their three young children. Together, we are trying to stay strong despite everything, but we have endured unimaginable hardships, but we hold on to hope, thanks to the compassion and generosity of people like you.. The amount we raised to secure our apartment gave us a roof over our heads, but we now need support to handle medical bills and maintain stability in this fragile time and other urgent needs. The ceasefire has given us a glimmer of hope, but the road ahead remains uncertain. Our home has been reduced to rubble, and though the fighting has paused, the emotional and physical scars persist. We dream of returning to our roots, of rebuilding not just walls but the love and memories that made our house a home. Despite our pain, we remain committed to helping others. Being together in this apartment allows us to extend a helping hand to other displaced families who share similar hardships. Your support, no matter how big or small, will bring us the relief we desperately need. It will help us cover medical expenses and rebuild a sense of normalcy in our lives. More importantly, it will remind us that hope and compassion are alive, even in the darkest times. From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for reading our story, sharing it, and offering any help you can. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us. With all our love and gratitude, Jean and Family 💕🙏
