Hope for Special Needs Children in Lebanon

Solidarity with Lebanon

Hope for Special Needs Children in Lebanon
Hello everyone, My name is Arwa. As a speech and language pathologist, I have the joy of working with children who have special needs every day. These remarkable children inspire me with their strength, resilience, and unyielding spirit. Today, I’m deeply moved by the unimaginable challenges that children with special needs are facing due to war in Lebanon. The focus of the campaign is primarily on providing specialized support for children with special needs rather than just basic necessities like food. While basic needs such as food and shelter are certainly important, the campaign aims to address the unique challenges faced by children with special needs in Lebanon in light of the ongoing war. Donations to this campaign will go a long way in making a difference: 1. **Access to Healthcare Facilities**: Many hospitals and clinics may be damaged or overwhelmed due to conflict. Ensuring that children have access to functioning healthcare facilities is critical. 2. **Medications**: Children with special needs often require specific medications for conditions like epilepsy, ADHD, or developmental disorders. There may be shortages of these medications, making it essential to provide funding to ensure they are available. 3. **Therapeutic Equipment**: Many children need specialized equipment (like wheelchairs, braces, or communication devices) to aid their mobility and communication. Funds can help procure these items, which are often not covered by general healthcare services. 4. **Ongoing Therapy Services**: Regular therapeutic services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) are vital for these children’s development. Providing financial support to keep these services running, even during conflict, is crucial. 5. **Nutritional Supplements**: Some children may require special dietary needs or nutritional supplements to support their health. This is especially important for children with metabolic disorders or those who may be malnourished due to the crisis. 6. **Emergency Medical Care**: In war zones, the likelihood of injuries increases. Ensuring access to emergency medical care for all children, including those with special needs, is critical. 7. **Safe Spaces**: Creating safe environments where children can play and learn away from the stress of conflict is vital for their emotional and psychological healing. These spaces can also facilitate social interaction and help them develop relationships with peers. 8. **Transportation**: Families with special needs children often struggle to access necessary services due to unsafe conditions or lack of transportation options. Providing safe transport can help ensure that children can reach medical appointments and therapy sessions. Today, we have the opportunity to make a real difference. Your contributions will not only provide vital resources and services but also show these children that they are seen, valued, and loved. Every dollar counts! Thank you for your time and generosity. Together, let’s make a difference in the lives of these remarkable children.

Hope For Lebanon

Hope For Lebanon
In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, With His help, we proceed... Since the beginning of the blatant aggression against our beloved country and the displacement of our people and loved ones from their villages and cities to areas they deem safe, starting from the last week of September, we have taken it upon ourselves—out of our humanitarian and moral responsibility—to gather whatever we could from generous donors and kind-hearted individuals to support and assist our people in Lebanon in various ways, with our modest resources. This effort has reached numerous areas, starting from Saida and its outskirts to Baabda, Kfarshima, Hayy al-Salam, Choueifat, Damour, Baawarta, Zqaq al-Blat, and also some cases in the north. The aid provided was both financial and material, depending on our capacity. Financial donations were directed toward individual cases of displaced persons residing with relatives, and their needs were primarily for children and the elderly, including diapers, milk, and medicines. We also supplied them with blankets and mattresses. Material assistance was distributed in crowded neighborhoods where each household often shelters more than 10 families. We distributed cooking supplies, canned goods, cleaning supplies of all kinds, bathing soap, and essentials to schools, where each accommodates between 500 to 1,400 people. In these cases, we focused on canned food, bread, water, blankets, mattresses, and cleaning supplies. We also provided medications to the areas of Zqaq al-Blat and Damour, with a focus on anti-inflammatory drugs, fever reducers, and medications for blood pressure, heart, and diabetes, like insulin. All of this work has been documented with receipts, photos, and videos, carefully respecting the dignity of our people without filming any of them, out of sensitivity to their situation. This documentation is intended to establish the credibility of our work and maintain donor trust, given the prevalence of fraudulent organizations exploiting the suffering of our people. Additionally, we distributed clothes to all these centers upon request from families who couldn’t take their basic belongings when leaving their homes. With winter approaching, we call upon our beloved supporters and generous hands to help us provide heaters and gas for our loved ones. We clarify that our work is individual and not affiliated with any organization. Our efforts stem solely from our ethics and sense of responsibility toward our displaced family members. We urge you to support us and stand by our loved ones in these challenging times, as the situation worsens daily with the expansion of aggression into areas once considered safe, forcing people to flee once again, increasing the number of those in need. Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it. And what greater reward than helping God's creation in these most challenging circumstances. From you, the giving; from us, the service; and from God, the best of rewards.

I need a lawyer for divorce
I have been separated for 5 years and still am not divorced. I filed twice unsuccessfully because the judge said I am missing something but I can’t receive any legal advice from the court clerks. I absolutely need a lawyer to file, serve and represent me in this matter. He is a very abusive man, he has taken our children from me, and won’t tell me where he lives. Please 🙏🏽 every dollar counts!
