I am Amera, 26 years old, from Gaza, I got married during the war and genocide, and when I wanted to live my life like any married woman, the occupation demolished our house،Above our heads, I survived, along with my husband, my mother, and my 8-year-old sister. My brother was martyred, the other was injured, and my little brother was arrested. My brother survived, but he suffered a broken pelvis and shrapnel all over his body.There is a shrapnel (a piece of the missile) in his head next to the brain, which poses a great danger to his life. At one point, that shrapnel caused temporary paralysis in his lower limbs. He went into a coma several times and the shrapnel in his chest caused air to enter his left lung. I narrowly escaped death several times.My husband and I live in a tent. I created this campaign first to bring basic resources and necessities of life such as food, drink and medicine. Secondly, so that I, my family and my husband can survive the genocide to the safe humanitarian zone and build a better future. With your kindness, compassion, love and help, we will be able to reach the humanitarian zone in better health. We would like to reach out fundraising goal of $50,000.

This is the house we dream to buy and transform as a cat sanctuary for the injured and diseased cats we come across. We have been volunteering for 8 years now neutering street cats and we want to raise a place where animal protectors will be helped with veterinary services and they won't need to take care of the rescued in their own house as they usually do. We want to take care of people and animals. We know how dificult is is to act when you have no structure and struggle do save lifes. There are over 3 millions of animals on the streets in the state of Rio and only 1 overloaded public shelter. It is time to make it happen, will you join us?
