Support a cancer survivor in starting up a career
Grace’s Story: A Journey of Resilience, Art, and Hope She is a talented topographer and interior designer with a heart full of creativity and a story shaped by strength and perseverance. After overcoming cancer and becoming a survivor, she continued to fight for her dreams and rebuild her life with courage. With her background in topography, she was determined to return to her profession and create a stable future. However, after developing a recent sun allergy, working outdoors became extremely difficult, limiting her ability to pursue opportunities in topography. Instead of giving up, she turned toward her passion for interior design and art — a field where she can use her creativity, skills, and imagination. She has always been an artist, with a natural talent for creating beautiful spaces and designs. But one major obstacle stands in her way: she does not own a suitable laptop to learn, design, create 3D projects, and start building her career in interior design. She dreams of opening her own small studio, a place where she can combine her knowledge of topography, interior design, and art to create meaningful projects. She wants to become financially independent and prove that challenges do not have to define a person’s future. Today, she is asking for support to help her get a professional laptop that will allow her to work, develop her skills, and take the first step toward opening her own studio. This opportunity would not only provide her with a tool for work — it would give her a chance to rebuild her career, gain stability, and continue transforming her creativity into something valuable. Behind every design she creates is a story of survival, determination, and hope. She is not asking for a handout; she is asking for a chance to work, grow, and build the future she has been fighting for.

My name is Lama, and my sister’s name is Aya. We are two girls from a humble Lebanese family who decided to start something from nothing… with our own hands. We began with just a small table under our home, and a saj. No shop, no capital… just passion, hard work, and the belief that good, honest food speaks for itself. We made traditional Lebanese kaak and saj… Simple, clean, and made with love. People started to come… not because we were extraordinary, but because we were real. Our profit was very small… around $0.10 to $0.15 per item, but for us, it meant progress. It meant hope. It meant a dream slowly growing. With time, we added more items and tried to expand, but the situation in Lebanon became harder… and business declined. Today, our dream is simple: We want a small shop, in a safer area, where we can continue what we started. We’re not saying we deserve more than anyone else… but maybe our dream deserves a chance. Maybe… even one dollar from you can make a difference. Maybe it can help turn this dream into reality.
