Urgent Appeal for Educational Support
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
My name is Fawzy from Gaza. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, and I kindly ask you to spare a moment to hear my appeal.
I am writing to seek your support for my son, Albaraa, in covering his tuition fees. He is currently in his second semester studying Human Medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza.
Since October 2023, we have been living under extremely difficult conditions in a tent in Gaza. Our lives have been devastated, and I am struggling to secure even the most basic needs.
Despite these hardships, my son remains determined to continue his education and pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Unfortunately, I am unable to afford his tuition fees. The cost for the current semester is approximately $2,500, and the annual fees for the coming year are around $5,200.
It deeply pains me that I am unable to support my son’s future. I feel helpless, exhausted, and overwhelmed, as if I am asking for something impossible in an unjust world.
I have lost my home, my brother, relatives, friends, and my source of livelihood in the war on Gaza. I am not a beggar; I am simply a father trying to secure his son’s education so he can support our family of eight in the future.
I humbly appeal to your generosity to help fund his education, as you would for your own son, as soon as possible.
