Help me embark on my Master Journey in UK, Phase 1
Hi everyone,
My name is Madina, I’m an independent journalist from Uzbekistan. I’ve dedicated my career to telling stories that bridge cultures, highlight human resilience, and bring transparency to issues often overlooked in Central Asia. Growing up in Uzbekistan, I saw how many important stories remained unheard — not because they didn’t exist, but because there weren’t enough trained journalists to tell them with truth and empathy.
This is why I want to specialize in international journalism and media communication — to help amplify voices that matter and bring Central Asia into global conversations.
Brunel University offers one of the few programs that combine media, storytelling, and international understanding — exactly what I need to evolve as a journalist who connects people. The total estimated cost of tuition is £ 20 000 (Ifigures are subject to annual increase as the University website claims). I’ve already started saving, but I still need help covering part of my tuition and visa-related expenses which makes £8000 for phase 1. Your support will go directly towards the initial payment. I started earlier, even a small contribution can bring me closer to this dream.
If you can’t donate, you can still help by sharing this campaign with your friends, colleagues, or online community. I see this Master’s not as just an individual journey, but as a mission to give back. Upon graduation, I plan to support independent media initiatives in Central Asia, mentor younger journalists and students,
build cross-cultural storytelling projects that promote understanding between regions. I’ll also keep sharing updates from my studies, so you can follow my journey and see how your contribution is shaping my lifelong goals in the right direction.
