As parents to an autistic child, we are struggling at these difficult times to keep the special education services going, our Amir needs speech therapy, occupational therapy and psychological therapy. And to enable him to attend to a specialized school to teach him autonomy skills. He is non verbal, so he does not speak, and has multiple social deficiencies, all therapy is now collected with fresh dollar while our salaries are still the same in LBP and hasn't improved a bit during all this inflation. Any help is welcomed and appreciated a 15$ donation is enough for 1 session. We are located in Bekaa Lebanon, where therapy is scarce and expensive, and NGOs offer next to nothing to help, we ask for your support to be able to continue therapy for Amir for one year, and hopefully by then we would be on our feet. (Français ci-dessous) Acsauvel is a Lebanese NGO in Deir Tamish, founded 1979. We are educating Lebanese and refugee children with Learning and Intellectual Disabilities. We also run protected workshops for adults with intellectual disabilities. The crisis in Lebanon hits us hard and we are fighting for our survival. The Lebanese government support is delayed and insufficient, the pandemic prevents us from organising our regular fundraising activities and the currency devaluation leads to poverty among our families and everyone around us. You can help our 125 children and adults and contribute to their education and wellbeing. This will also help our teachers and therapists to remain in employment. If you can, please make a donation. La crise au Liban nous frappe durement et nous luttons pour notre survie. Le soutien du gouvernement libanais est tardif et insuffisant, la pandémie nous empêche d'organiser nos activités régulières de collecte de fonds et la dévaluation de la monnaie entraîne la pauvreté parmi nos familles et tout le monde autour de nous. Vous pouvez aider nos 125 enfants et adultes en contribuant à leur éducation et à leur bien-être. Cela aidera également nos enseignants et nos thérapeutes à conserver leur emploi. Hello! I am a 19-year-old Lebanese student majoring in theater here in Lebanon. My biggest goal is to specialize in the field of musicals. To be able to continue my studies in France, I have to do a musical theatre internship in summer 2022 , so I will be able to discover during a 9-days-program the curriculum of this specific art school in addition to reserving my place in their establishment for the following year. Because of the economic crisis and the current university schedule, it's hard to manage and work in a proper job where I could be able to fund this workshop all by myself.  This stage will take place in France between August and September 2022 (still waiting for further infos coming from the art school). And this fund is only concerning the workshop fees. So till then I'm giving this website a try... thank you !

The Alumni of SSCC Ain Najm founded the Alumni Scholarship Fund "Roots are Calling" and invite you all to donate and take part of this campaign. The purpose of this fund is to empower, encourage and motivate the current SSCC Ain Najm students by providing financial support to the ones in need. Our mission is to bring together the SSCC Ain Najm Alumni Community and foster the "giving back" spirit with the intent of impacting the younger generation. To date, SSCC Ain Najm has been able to operate and educate children while offering very low tuition fees, between 300$ and 350$ per child per annum, the school is at risk of sustaining its educational system. The students need your urgent support! Most of the parents are unable to pay the tuition fees anymore. Your generous act, will make a difference, no matter how small it is. With all the hardships Lebanese are going through, 1.500 children are now at risk of losing access to education and their future, and thousands of children in the region will no longer have access to school. Two schools, Saint Coeurs School and Notre Dame Machmouche School - both located in Jezzine, Southern Lebanon and the only two schools serving 52 nearby villages - will be forced to close their doors unless they receive urgent and immediate help: Both schools have existed for over 100 years, and have historically been subsidized by the Ministry of Social Affairs, but have stopped receiving any aid since 2016. Without assistance and without your help, both schools will cease to exist. A donation of 4,000,000 Lebanese Pounds (an equivalent of 180 USD ( fresh) approximately) can finance the tuition of a child for an entire year. Please donate today to offer these children and Lebanon a better life and future, which they truly deserve to see. Our ultimate goal is to raise a total of $90,000 in order to keep the schools running for the upcoming year. We are raising these funds through Loubnaniyoun, an NGO founded in June 2012 under Decree Number 1140, that supports education through scholarship programs and that will take zero administrative cost on your donations. Teach a Child with Special Needs
The Special Education Department at Adduha High School caters for children with communication disorders needs. The aim of the department was to provide its student with an integration setting, allowing them to benefit from the regular classrooms' setting and school activities, while also receiving the therapies and support they need. Due to the ongoing crisis in Lebanon, the regular classes at Adduha High School will be suspended for the academic year 2021-2022. Nevertheless, we are working hard to keep the special education department functioning in order to provide our students, and any student with special needs with the services they need and deserve. Our Special Education Department aims to be able to offer children with special needs with a welcoming non-judgmental environment where they benefit from Individualized Educational Plans, Speech and Language Therapy as well as Psychomotor Therapy. Some of the students joined our special education department 11 years ago when they were 3 years old; we've been tailoring their educational programs and adjusting them to their needs and potential throughout the past years. These students will have a very tough transition if they were to move to a different institution, or would have to stay at home for the coming academic year. By keeping our Special Education Department open, we will be able to continue providing them with their educational and therapeutic needs.
