In memory of Graham Nation:Support for the family
With the deepest sorrow, we suddenly lost our beloved Graham on Friday, February 14. Graham’s passing came completely unexpected. The family is left bereft and bewildered and is in a state of tragic shock and sorrow. Graham had an esteemed career as a hairstylist. A true artistic visionary whose creative passions were only magnified by the birth of his son Romeo, who just turned 6 months old on the 5th of February. Graham had an unparalleled work ethic and, along with his incredible partner in life and mother to Romeo, Tonya, it was their shared moral values to create and build a legacy for their beautiful budding family. This was without a doubt Graham's ambition. As Graham continues to be a ray of light and inspiration, we will continue to keep his legacy alive for his son Romeo. As dear friends to Graham, Tonya and Romeo, we have decided to create this gofundme with the intention of providing support for Tonya and Romeo. With the hope of minimizing the stresses around financial hardships in the harrowing days of healing ahead. As well as to show that she will be carried and supported by all who love her, Romeo and Graham by those known, and unknown alike. Should you feel inclined to pay your respects, the funds raised through this link will be given to Tonya and Romeo to help support them through this devastating tragedy. With the utmost respect, we honor Graham’s family, The Cheek family, who raised him to be the wonderful son, brother, and friend we have all known and loved. Our respect and condolences are with Tonya’s family, The Brewer family, as Graham had given their daughter the absolute joy of her life in creating beautiful baby Romeo. And thank you, dear reader, for taking the time to get to know more about our shining, forever star, Graham. Always in our hearts and spirits, we love you, Graham.

Urgent Help Needed to Evacuate My Family from Gaza

Emergency

Urgent Help Needed to Evacuate My Family from Gaza
I am Ahmed and this is my story in Gaza, I am married and the father of a two-year-old girl named Ghada, I don't know how to describe to you the feeling of war, pain, suffering and destruction that we live here. Just imagine that I lost my home and my job and lived through the destruction. We have been at war for a year or more. I live in a small tent in the cold and winter. Here we can no longer bear this life. My daughter needs health care, but I am alone and under these circumstances I cannot give her the most basic rights. She needs healthy food, but even that has become difficult to obtain due to exploitation and the lack of the most basic resources. We are now in a severe famine and cannot find any kind of food. Here in the tent we drowned due to the heavy rains Surviving death is so difficult that they closed the crossing in front of us and now we cannot travel and we are still here in Gaza, the destruction. But I created this campaign so that I and my family can get out of here when the crossing opens. But even getting out is not easy. Because we need coordination from Egypt and we have to pay $5000 per person. We are 3 people I need to save my life and the life of my family from death and you are the only way that can help me achieve that. Your cooperation with me and your presence will save our lives from death. I know that you are capable of it and I trust you and I will be grateful to every person who will help me

Khaled needs electrocardiogram treatment.

Emergency

Khaled needs electrocardiogram treatment.
My name is Khaled and I am Palestinian. I am 34 years old. I currently live with my wife and daughter in Egypt. We were forcibly displaced from our home in Gaza from north to south and then to Egypt where I had to pay a sum of money to coordinate the travel and I had to sell my wife's gold to escape death. We were able to escape the genocide in Gaza through the Rafah land crossing. Now we are alive in Egypt, we are stateless and do not know how we will return to "live" in a destroyed country and we do not know anything about our unknown fate there. I am a heart patient who suffers from arrhythmia, a health condition resulting from an irregular heartbeat. This condition can lead to a disturbance in the heart's electricity, which can lead to an increase or decrease in the heart rate, or an irregularity. Electricity on the heart comes at irregular times The cardiologists in Gaza were scheduled to travel before the war in 2022 1- Performing an implantable defibrillator (ICD) It is a device that is implanted under the skin near the collarbone, and helps reset the heartbeat regularly, by sending high-energy or low-energy electrical shocks. 2- Ablation / cauterization During this procedure, the doctor passes one or more tubes called catheters through the blood vessels to reach the heart, containing sensors at the end that may be heated or cold to create small scars in the heart, with the aim of preventing irregular heart signals. He went to a hospital here in Egypt, I went back and they told me the same as the doctors in Gaza, but unfortunately the operation to implant an ICD costs $11,000 and the removal/cauterization operation costs $6,000 I cannot afford this amount except for your grace and generosity towards me and my family - My wife is 9 months pregnant and needs food, vitamins, imaging, medical tests, and clothes for the newborn - My daughter has dental problems that cause her pain and cry every day, and I am unable to go to the dentist. The rent I rented has accumulated two months of rent because all my money has run out, I cannot do anything, I am helpless and miserable, and the landlord threatens to evict us from the residence if we do not pay the required amount The condition has become more frequent, I get chest pain, difficulty concentrating, confusion, difficulty exercising. Rapid heartbeat Shortness of breath Dizziness Fainting and feeling faint Chest fluttering I am trying to find a job in Egypt that suits my health condition but to no avail Due to the current economic conditions in Egypt, in addition to being undocumented and “stateless” as Palestinians from Gaza, just starting to work is a struggle Please help provide the basics of life for the rest of the year Any amount helps, no contribution is too small or too big. Some of what your donations can provide for my family: $10 = 1 meal for a family of 3 $20 = Winter clothes for one person $75 = 1 month of transportation for one family $100 = 1 month of groceries for a family of 3 $200 = 1 month of rent for one apartment $11,000 = ICD treatment $6,000 = Cardiac ablation surgery The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Do not delay charity, for it blocks the path of calamity.” (Tirmidhi 6’)
